There is hardly a better place in my area to enjoy a perfect Autumn day than the open-air -museum in Detmold. We spent a whole day in beautiful sunshine without a cloud in this lovely location.

The LWL-Freilichtmuseum in Detmold is a great place to learn and experience the world of our ancestors. The open-air-museum is covered with buildings, tools, animals and plants of countryside life in Northwest Germany in the last couple of centuries. An endless source of inspiration for HDR photography.

I wish you and yours happy holidays.

And much peace, joy, laughter and good health in the New Year 2016!

Thank you all so much for your visits, favs, kind comments and support.

As the seasons change, some low-lying clouds remind me that stormy days are ahead. But for now, I enjoy the September colors at the end of the day.

どうぞ良いお年をお迎えください。

At last, the flower season is here. With long days, short nights, sunny dry weather is all in bloom very soon, therefore, if you want to experience the beauty and take photos, you have a great hurry now.

Sorry if I do not have time for all of my good friends' pictures, but I try to keep up with everything.

Sorry also to Group Window Wednesday, I was lost in the days of yesterday. Loaded up a day early! :))

Found this early Pulsatilla beside a warm stone, in full bloom.

Over the field there where a lot of buds, I will go back in a few days.

I love the winter, when snow that lights up our dark season, when the sun only is here for a couple hours.

I love the spring when the birds return, gives me symphony orchestra in the forest, all the flowers on the ground.

I love summer hot days, light clothing, a picnic in the park, boat trip on the lake.

But mostly I love the fall for all the wonderful colors.

The trees vary even just in a little yellow here, but I will jump-start with my own creationer in autumn color robes.

Thank you dear Flickr friends for kindly visit, comment and fav.

To all who have shared your great images, keep them coming, may you have a wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year.

Don't worry it isn't my fishing boat...lol.....mine is safely stored in the garage for the winter. This photo was taken about 30 minutes prior to the photo "Heaven's Gate" .....just prior to the fog lifting to reveal a spectacular blue sky. Thankyou for all your wonderful congrats!!!

Always enjoy this time of year as the light can be fantastic

Where I live, we've moved rather abruptly from the season of autumn color to the season of color is hard to find. It was cold enough too on Tuesday that Monday night's snow stuck around all day.

Today's another day with scorching hot temperatures in Mid-September!! So let me offer some welcome refreshment to all of us who are suffering from the heat :)

Exploring in Secondlife and doing photos is my all time favorite past time. Despite being an introvert, this is one thing I embrace and it is something I have been learning more and more about.

Trying new windlights etc... all part of a passion to learn, explore and create.

Seasons Greetings to you all

✈️ : Paradise on the sea

Lake is frozen over

Trees are white with snow

And all around

Reminders of you

Are everywhere I go

It's late and morning's in no hurry

But sleep won't set me free

I lie awake and try to recall

How your body felt beside me

When silence gets too hard to handle

And the night too long

And this is how I see you

In the snow on Christmas morning

Love and happiness surround you

As you throw your arms up to the sky

I keep this moment by and by

Very busy lately and with hard flu. Will visit all of you litle by little...

Hope you are are with no fever there ;)

If you like it you are free to print it ;)

A mix of 6 Wombo images, all done with Pixelmator Pro and then a bit of a painterly look created with Impresso Pro.

Prompts:Thanksgiving wreath, cornucopia, Autumn leaves

Style: The City

Input: on normal, the image below. I used this textured chipmunk photo for the color palette. That way, all the results were easier to blend together.

Starting another week! HSS!

Autumn colors in the Yucatan peninsule

"Summer nights and long warm days

Are stolen as the old moon falls

My mirror shows another face

Another place to hide it all

Another place to hide it all

And I'm lost behind

The words I'll never find

And I'm left behind

As seasons roll on by..."
