'Nuff said...CSX SD40-2 8221 (née L&N 3593) sits under the morning sunlight at Richmond, VA on March 30, 1991. The bright colors of YN2 were a stark contrast compared to the "Stealth" locomotives behind 8221.

CSXT 8221 is currently on my modeling "To-Do List", so someday there will be an HO Scale version of this engine on my roster...stay tuned.

As best as I can id these vehicles, they are M88A2 Hercules (Heavy Recovery Vehicle). CSX 2433 (ex-L&N) moves them around Cumberland Yard in Cumberland, MD as seen from AMTRAK #30, Capitol Ltd.

Former Algoma Central #187, now WC 6005, leads T050 through Vernon back on a rainy May 18th in 1999.

CSX 8253 (ex-B&O) and 6487 (ex-C&O) idle in the Cumberland, MD Hump Terminal. Seen from AMTRAK #30, Capitol Ltd.

IC 6071 started as SD40X #434, built on an SD35 frame. She then went to the GM&O and became #950. Then on to ICG as 6071 and finally IC 6071. Waiting patiently for her next assignment in Duplainville, WI. Aug. 18, 2008.
