Apparently, this beachfront Manhattan Beach alley was not the best place to park overnight. This became apparent at 6:51 am, when the cops knocked on the door and told us to scram. And by 6:51 I mean, 0:41 minues after we fell asleep. Drag. I nearly puked on the cop when I opened the door. Luckily, he was already in his cruiser.

The sun actually appeared! Literally lasting only 5 minutes, I had to scram to find the best wall in my house for a shadow shot. Nothing looked right, so I had to turn my dresser around and face the back of it to the window, hence the woodgrain look.
