When you go decide a beach location for your vacations you usually want sunny weather to lay on the beach and enjoy the sun. Even if I love that, I really enjoyed the first couple of vacation days at Sitges, when the weather was not that good and the only thing to do was to walk, and enjoy the sea views.
The name of the photograph has been taken from a piece of one of the best groups I've known in recent years, Bliss. A warm muted trumpet and smooth textured sounds behind wrap you and I thought this photograph pretty much reflects my feelings about the song.
Last one of a series of old images from my hard drive which seemed appropriate to post now for the time of year.
This was taken with the first digital camera I ever owned, Sony Cybershot DSC-S70. Back in 2000 it was a top of the range P&S and cost me a small fortune. It still takes great photos although at only 3MP they are a little small but it's main problem is it is slow. Very slow. Still, it's too good to throw away so we have decided to give it to my 11yr old niece. As a first camera for her I'm sure it will teach her loads provided she has the patience to learn. Before letting it go though, I just had to have a play for old times sake ;-)

Overall view of the Mission Operations Control Room in the Mission Control Center at the Manned Spacecraft Center, during the fourth television transmission from the Apollo 13 spacecraft while en route to the Moon. Eugene F. Kranz (foreground, back to camera), one of four Apollo 13 Flight Directors, views the large screen at front of MOCR. Astronaut Fred W. Haise Jr., lunar module pilot, is seen on the screen. The fourth television transmission from the Apollo 13 mission was on the evening of April 13, 1970. Shortly after the transmission ended and during a routine procedure that required the crew to flip a switch that stirred one of the cryogenic liquid oxygen tanks, an explosion occurred that ended any hope of a lunar landing and jeopardized the lives of the three crew members.

My latest model, a converted Minichamps Volvo S70 Met Police Special Escort Group car from the late 1990s.
Little details I’ve added include the adapted lightbar with rear matrix message board and rear red lights on the parcel shelf.
It includes the Met style orange/red chevrons and livery which had no police text on the bonnet.
