When you go decide a beach location for your vacations you usually want sunny weather to lay on the beach and enjoy the sun. Even if I love that, I really enjoyed the first couple of vacation days at Sitges, when the weather was not that good and the only thing to do was to walk, and enjoy the sea views.
The name of the photograph has been taken from a piece of one of the best groups I've known in recent years, Bliss. A warm muted trumpet and smooth textured sounds behind wrap you and I thought this photograph pretty much reflects my feelings about the song.
Last one of a series of old images from my hard drive which seemed appropriate to post now for the time of year.

Watching the sunrise on Peak-to-Peak Highway this morning, I noticed a colorful bit of rim lighting on my baby.
Fallen leaves lay in a shallow stream at Lisha Kill Nature Preserve in Niskayuna, New York. The trees from which they fell are visible as reflections on the water's surface.

I was quite amazed to find this Russian diplomatic Volov parked at the Kudamm. I was a little intrigued about the plates conditions, they were pretty battered, but this car was seen in Moscow as well with these plates. But, since I've seen this car numerous times since my first encountering, I am going to assume this car had never returned to Moscow. I'm pretty curious whether this car is still legally registred with these plates as well, and why the owner is keeping them in Berlin. He might, for instance, change them for Mongolian plates and then return.

My latest model, a converted Minichamps Volvo S70 Met Police Special Escort Group car from the late 1990s.
Little details I’ve added include the adapted lightbar with rear matrix message board and rear red lights on the parcel shelf.
It includes the Met style orange/red chevrons and livery which had no police text on the bonnet.

Saturday Self-Challenge: long exposure: this is a 2 second exposure with the camera moved in circles on a string of colored lights.
The S70 was introduced by Volvo in 1996 as an updated version of the 850, itself from 1991. Like the 850 it has a 5-cylinder engine, in this case a 2.4 litre one (designated 2.5 by Volvo). The S70 was built until 2000.
