Einst alltäglich, im Fahrplan 2019 einmalig und seither leider Geschichte sind die Einsätze der Altbau-Triebwagenreihe 4020 im Burgenland, wenn man von vereinzelten S60 Leistungen zum Bahnhof Bruck a.d. Leitha, welcher anteilig im burgenländischen Bruckneudorf liegt, absieht. Bei aufkommender Bewölkung rollt am hochsommerlichen 19. August 2019 ein 4020 Tandem aus Hegyeshalom über die A4 Ostautobahn nächst Parndorf.
