Continuing with the CTA freight motors theme, here is S-104 at its customary parking spot at Howard St. yard, March 1973. Stablemate S-105, as well as Line Car S-606, can be seen in the background. CTA sold both S-104 and S-105 to Toledo Edison in 1978.

This my new course. This is my first Open university course with an exam at the end, so I'm a bit more nervous about it than normal. The course texts look amazing though, so I'm going to have a lot a fun with this one. It's great to be focusing solely on one subject now, rather than the mixed bag of S104. I'd better get on with it now :)

Avant a cargo del 104-005 procedente de Valencia Joaquín Sorolla y con destino en Málaga María Zambrano a su paso por El Rebollar.
Después de pasar un buen día junto a los camellos y junto a la curiosa señalización mecánica que utiliza la estación de El Rebollar, nos escapamos en diversas ocasiones a la LAV para poder cazar algo fuera de lo habitual en esta línea.
Por lo tanto, en medio de la jornada de camellos, nos hicimos la escapada para pillar el S.100 que subía de Catellón a Madrid. Luego volvimos a bajar a por más camellos y posteriormente volvimos a subir a por el S.104 que vemos en la foto. Después volvimos a bajar a por el último regional de bajada visible en condiciones de luz idóneas.
Fue un buen día de caza y bien aprovechado.
Vi uma mani da Gio Nails e quis imitar, ela usou o AmazOn AmazOFF e carimbou com um esmalte turquesa do Mundo de Uñas e placa da Born Pretty.
Não tenho nenhum dos esmaltes e placa que ela usou mas tenho o Deep Blue Way que achei parecido com o OPI e tenho um esmalte de carimbo turquesa da Whatcha e placas da Bundle Monster. hahah
Fora duas camadas do Boticário e que cobertura perfeita como todos os outros da marca, o Deep é um teal (paguei a língua de novo) e tem um tom escuro muito bonito, ainda vou usar sozinho.
Usei a placa Bundle Monster Shangri-la BM-S104 usando o esmalte HD Ju da Whatcha.
Matei a vontade de usar um verde escuro carimbado :-)

Antes de las obras del AVE Atocha-Torrejón de Velasco (línea de Valencia) a día de hoy diría que paradas. Se podían tomar imágenes tan alucinantes como esta, la valla se recogía hacia la vía para salvar el rio Manzanares y a través de los cuadraditos se podía colar el objetivo. Durante aquella tarde pude tirar a todo lo que pasaba por la LAV de Sevilla, S100, S102, S103, S104 y 252 con Talgo.
La rama 15 cogiendo velocidad a la altura de Perales del Rio destino Sevilla.

Onder de merknaam Avant rijdt Renfe hogesnelheidstreinen over de wat kortere afstanden. De S104 003 is op 15 november bij Fontcalent onderweg van Murcia del Carmen naar Alicante-Terminal, een reis van iets minder dan een uur, inclusief vier tussenstops. De S104 is een versie van de Fiat Pendolino die in diverse Europese laden terug te vinden is.
CTA freight motor S104 shoves 8 empty hopper cars past the Berwyn "L" station as the skies opened up on April 30, 1973. They stopped so I could get on and ride down to Buena Pk.
Motor S104 is at the Milwaukee Road interchange with the last CTA freight run during a drenching thunderstorm.
Scania L94 wrights, ex stagecoach/first merseyside. This bus will hopefully replace eig, and it started well with its journey from Barnsley being faultless.

The double form of this unusually large desk is unique. When lowered, both sides form writing surfaces and reveal drawers and pigeonholes veneered with marquetry. The finely cast and chased gilt-bronze mounts delineate the edges of the drawers, front, and legs. On the fall fronts of the desk, bunches of marquetry flowers seem to sprout from the sculptural mounts.
The desk was probably made for the fermier général (a type of tax collector) François-Balthazar Dangé; a similar desk is described in an inventory taken at his death in 1777. The desk is also found in the 1795 inventory of his son Louis, who was guillotined during the French Revolution.
Taming Light #41
Deep in space 'Light Farming' is a big commercial enterprise. However, when space storms occur and the strong gravitational waves and galactic winds strike the vast fields, much of the crop can be blown away like tumble-weed. Long strings of tangled light form and drift aimlessly in space. No longer viable as a cash crop for use in the space construction industry, registered 'spacecombers' , legally allowed to scavenge the 'flotsam and jetsam' of space, can find rich pickings here.
Another one of my "Refractographs"; created from a small scene the size of a 35mm film frame. The lens is removed from the camera and the 'scene' placed over the lens hole, working in the dark with a single beam of white light aimed at the camera this is the resultant refraction pattern or 'caustic' captured directly on to the film. This image is recorded on colour film and although appearing as 'black and white' there are some subtle rainbow colours to be seen.

Built 1949
The Li-2 was a license-built copy of the Douglas DC-3 / C47 and was allocated the NATO reporting name ‘Cab’.
This example was built for the Hungarian Air Force and initally flew as ‘S104’, later being renumbered as ‘209’. Operated for MALEV between 1956 and 1964 and then returned to the Hungarian Air Force. She is now the only remaining airworthy example of an Li-2 and is operated by the Gold Timer Foundation in Hungary and wears full MALEV livery.
Present as part of the ‘Daks over Normandy’ event to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day.
