Pre Rup is a Khmer Hindu temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 962. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction. Siem Reap Province, Cambodia.
Located near Siem Reap, the Angkor Archaeological Park is an amazing collection of temple complexes and other structures. The most popular tourist destination is Angkor Wat, but there are hundreds of others that are worth touring and photographing. This Pre Rup Hindu temple, completed in 961, was built with brick, laterite, and sandstone. Personally, I think Pre Rup is one of the most architecturally interesting structures in the Angkor Park complex.

Pre Rup è un tempio di Angkor, in Cambogia. Costruito come tempio di stato del re Khmer Rajendravarman e dedicato nel 961 o agli inizi del 962. È un "tempio-montagna" a costruzione mista di mattoni, laterite e arenaria.
La struttura architettonica richiama le scalinate delle piramidi Maya in Yucatan.
