This elegant bracelet is made with beautiful faceted rondelles of bright ruby red crystal and accented with Bali sterling silver toggle clasp and spacers. The bracelet is adorned with an ornate double heart pendant; the design on the pendant is only on one side (the other side is blank).
The bracelet is a great accent for a variety of styles, and is perfect for the winter season and for Valentine's Day!
The bracelet is 7.75" long and slight over 0.25" wide. The heart charm is 0.5" long.
This is one of the ornaments that I hand-embroidered this year. I try to make new ornaments each year.
The dress is made from wool felt. I used the blanket-stitch, French knots, and straight stitch to make the design and finish the edges.
The little hanger I made from wire.
It is particularly well known for its red and green foliage and is widely used in Christmas floral displays. It derives its common English name from Joel Roberts Poinsett,[3] the first United States Minister to Mexico,[4] who introduced the plant into the United States in 1825.
A stunning marquise shaped ring with a symmetrical cluster of round brilliant cut diamonds acting as a frame to a row of five glowing rubies. During this part of the Victorian period rubies were seen as the most precious of gems. The golden band and setting are carved with extra detail.

My first attempt at NaKniSweMo - my progress on the afternoon of Day 3. Alternating three skeins, as there are slight variations between them and I'd hate to end up with a really obvious difference in colour at the skein changes :-(
Just starting the lattice band ... so far, so good!
We had a good mail day today - four new tops for the girls and an outfit for Alexisbears' Sundae too!
Alis got this cute polka dot top from lalatroop. (pants by me, shoes rubyred)
This is our daughter's chicken named Ruby Red. Ruby was fascinated by my pants leg and kept pecking at it until I finally had to shoo her away.
Red quartz beads are nestled between white round rock quartz glass beads. Black glass beveled beads are used at the hook that measure 1/4 inches. Tiny black and silver beads are used as accents in this simple pattern. The round silver ball spacers add sparkle to this lanyard. The lanyard measures 17 inches long and would be a lovely teacher gift.
