The incredible depth of breathtaking Royal Gorge dwarfs a 16-car Royal Gorge Route Railroad passenger train as it negotiates tight, rocky confines along the Arkansas River near the old siding location of Gorge west of Cañon City, Colorado, on August 26, 2021. The view is looking straight down from the famous Royal Gorge suspension bridge that spans the chasm 955 feet above the river.
The ‘Royal Arrival’ is a stray tomcat visiting this Wild Garden in West Wales on a very regular basis – sometimes he even sleeps in one of the wood sheds, here.
Birds, squirrels, rabbits and the cat respect each other well - as well as the wild-life of this cute tomcat is respected by his tin-opener. He is being cared for as best as possible and in compliance with his permission.

The Queen's Guard are responsible for guarding Buckingham Palace and St. James's Palace in London. They usually consist of Foot Guards (guards on foot) wearing full-dress uniform of red tunics and bearskins (hats).
We went for a drive and ended up at Coomaditchie Lagoon. There were about 25 - 30 royal spoonbills on a little island. There was a lot of activity which I think maybe was the spoonbills were performing courtship rituals.
One of the most impressing birds of prey - the Stellar's Sea Eagle. I don't know a bird that looks more majestic than them

The royal tern has a red-orange bill and a black cap during the breeding season, but in the winter the cap becomes patchy. The royal tern is found in Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean islands. The royal tern lives on the coast and is only found near salt water.

The chicks leave the nest scrape within one day after hatching and congregate together in a group known as a crèche, which can have thousands of chicks. A pair will feed only their own chick, and manage to find it in the crowd, probably by recognizing its call.

Last night after work I took a trip down to Royal William Yard in Plymouth, it's been ages since I've been down here in the evening so thought I'd head down for sunset to see what I could get.
It was weird being in the yard and having it be so quiet, normally on a Saturday evening the place would be full of people eating or drinking at the many restaurants and bars that are located in the area, but last night it was absolutely empty, The only people around were the residents who live there.
The shot I had planned for sunset didn't turn out too great so I headed outside of the yard to get one of my favourite compositions of the place as blue hour started.
I've not had time to go through all of my images yet but here's the first one from the visit.

This was a fun shoot waiting for adult Royal Terns to return to the beach to feed their adult sized young. People were walking up and down the beach right by the seemingly unconcerned gathering of Royal Terns. I kept my distance so the birds didn't shift their position for me but some walkers would walk right through their position causing a momentary shuffling about of some of the birds. This lens has proved a great walk around lens and with the R5 handheld it does a good job locking on the eye of the moving bird.
