"The themes of Round 2"
Like those of the first round, the themes of the second round are defined by a combination of two items, one related to the main subject of the photograph (general theme), the other related to how it was photographed or how it is represented (ambiance). 100 themes are thus defined from 10 general themes and 10 ambiances. They are symbolized by the squares of a chessboard 10*10. The order in which these themes will be proposed is defined by a pawn that moves like a knight in a chess game. You will find below the chronological list of the themes of the 2nd Round.
NB: The path defined here is different from that of the First Round (a solution of the "algorithm of the knight" which had been found by G.Pérec and used by him in his novel(s) "Life: A User's Manual". But it is easily deduced from the latter by symmetry with respect to the second diagonal.

Comme ceux du premier Tour, les thèmes du deuxième Tour sont définis par combinaison de deux items, l'un lié au sujet principal de la photographie (thème général), l'autre lié à la façon dont il a été photographié ou dont il est représenté (ambiance). 100 thèmes sont ainsi définis à partir de 10 thèmes généraux et de 10 ambiances. Ils sont symbolisés par les cases d'un échiquier 10*10. L'ordre dans lequel ces thèmes vont être proposés est défini par un pion qui se déplace à la manière d'un cavalier dans un jeu d'échecs. Vous trouverez ci-après la liste chronologique des thèmes du 2ème Tour.
NB: Le trajet défini ici est différent de celui du Premier Tour (une solution à l'"algorithme du cavalier" qui avait été trouvée par G.Pérec et utilisée par celui -ci dans son roman(s) "La vie, mode d'emploi". Mais il se déduit aisément de ce dernier par symétrie par rapport à la deuxième diagonale.
