Esta rosa la he captado como ilusión por la entrada en la primavera, fui a pasear por el parque de la Rosaleda de Cervantes en Barcelona (Roserar de Cervantes) el día 20-04-2021 y me encontre con esta especie de rosa tan original y bella, no pude saber que perfume desprendía por no estar accesible.

Rosa pendulina:

More or less suckering habit, 60-120 cm tall, sometimes much more.

Stems usually reddish-brown, often almost spineless or sometimes thickly set with slender straight prickles.

Leaves 5-15cm long, composed of seven to nine elliptic leaflets, sometimes glandular or downy beneath, toothed. Flowers 4-6 cm across, deep pink to purplish-pink, solitary or in twos or threes, summer.

Alps, Apennines, and the Pyrenees, in woods, scrub, and on open slopes.

R.p. 'Nana' is more freely suckering and rarely above 30 cm in height.
