...in reality.

And close.

My confidence in the ice and myself is growing fast now.

I do believe that the ice will keep holding even if the current pressure is about 182lbs and I can hear occasional "cracking and moaning."

The falls are on the Northern Chinese/Vietnam border with half falling on either side of the border.

Jehu is way cooler than I am.

This was taken leaning over the side of the Spirit of Tasmania as we docked in the pre-dawn fog in Devonport. Very nearly SOOC.

A Week in Waikiki

Poyrazköy, İstanbul

This gent was cleaning windows about 18 storeys up on a heavily overcast day. I'm sure he wanted to get as much done as possible before the next downpour. Sunny dry days are at a premium this month.

Shot with the E-M1 III, 150-400mm with 1.25x TC plus MC-14 TC for a total of 28x magnification. It's cropped slightly to make the ropes vertical. The image is sharp enough that I can decode the cuts on his roof access key.

Every day the tiny village of Sunderland (or Sunderland Point), gets cut off by the high tide, which completely engulfs the only road that serves this tiny community. The place has a really lost in time kind of feeling and I often come here beach-combing. Many of my driftwood shots are taken very close to here, on the other side of the peninsula. Its a lovely place, and i'd love to live here for a while.

This shed was in the middle of a farmland. I walked past it to take a shot of a farm and when I walked back I noticed these ropes. Given the amount of stinging nettle, I don't think it is being used a lot :-)
