Incarnata. Fiat lux, fiat lumen.
Pétries de chair et de lumière, il y a des formes, il y a la forme qui mange la forme, les chairs mangées, il y a la chair qu’on mange, il y a le déchiquètement, il y a qu’elles sont imprenables.
Il y a qu’on voit des lueurs de lampyres, et sous la mer on ne sait quoi, regardant leurs corps quasi démembrés, il y a là des détroits des écrins et des eaux libres, des meurtres incidents, des danses sur des montagnes nocturnes, des châtiments dans des sourires d’argent, des papillons terribles, des danses, ces danses où elles se regardent danser, des pleurs où elles se regardent pleurer, des tortures que, condescendantes, elles regardent aussi car elles regardent tout sous leurs paupières basses, et des blondeurs disparues, des blancheurs de cimetière et toujours ce regard, toujours plus manifeste quand il est dérobé.
Il y a la chair des corps, le compact du corps et son évanouissement ironique, il y a d’elles ce qu’elles savent et que vous ne saurez pas, elles sont anciennes déjà et sortent de ces fresques pâles qu’ont salpêtrées les laves, gentiment nervaliennes, gentilles finalement dans leur abandon de mères immaculées.
Ces filles-là, même si vous l’avez cru, vous ne les aurez jamais approchées, vous n’aurez jamais vu comment elles peuvent dissoudre tous les contours et le vôtre en premier, elles Salomés fatales à la nudité très habillée sous les voiles car la beauté habille des vêtements de la grâce, et leurs regards sont sombrés qui disent des naufrages, et leurs cris sont immensément muets et leur cou renversé qu’elles attendent qu’on tranche, et patientes avec ça, et leurs joues sont des prairies où reposent les agneaux et leurs lèvres s’abaissent un peu pour dire qu’elle ne savent pas mais qu’elles veulent aller jusqu’à vous, qu’elles vous attendent peut-être, il y a toujours un doute.
Ce qu’il y a, c’est le précaire des jours qu’elles dénient, violentes, elles et la fraîcheur de leur corps, leur corps de pliures et de disparitions, elles et les obliques d’effroi de leurs yeux transversaux, elles qui en reviennent toujours aux premières peintures des grottes où s’imprègne le sang des mains mutilées, elles sortant du sang, vivant du sang, mourant du sang, éternelles jouissantes d’éternelle solitude. Elles surgies des fresques de villas luxueuses qu’ont rongées les braises, elles, oh qu’en dire encore, est-ce la mer qui les a recouvertes, la mer où on a jeté les testicules du Temps, elles Vénus de supermarché, Cypris au diadème, mères de l’enfant fou, elles petites filles aux cambrures de flamenco, elles aux renaissances, toujours élevées, allant toujours plus haut, naïves et brûlées, plongées dans les étangs moisis des Ophélies pauvres, elles incrédules devant leurs rondeurs de sacrifice et l’élan qui dément la vulnérabilité, elles poisseuses comme le noyau du fruit et s’émerveillant de l’être. Et encore, cette supplique de leurs lèvres, le triomphe hésitant de leur beauté, elles debout, dressées, pleines de douces embrasures, scintillantes et pensives et lentes.
La terre s’enchante de leur écorchement si pudique, des caillots de sang brillent à leurs poignets, que sont-elles que des pharaonnes embusquées, campées là dans un étourdissement, un effroi toujours intrigué. Et priantes, maudissantes, écartelées, opaques et furieuses, mille fois nées. Oh leurs énormes sourires mortuaires, oh les questions qu’elles posent pour après.
Salomé embrasse la bouche du désiré, elle comme les autres n’a vécu que le désir et sait que rien n’importe d’autre, et qu’on ne se baisse que pour ce geste-là. Oui, elles sont infiniment dédaigneuses et l’amour éclos tout autant. Salomé embrasse la mort, elle est morte dans un sourire d’enfant, c’était la plus jolie fille de la ville. Elles sont toutes mortes à vingt ans.
