The Scuola Grande di San Rocco is the best preserved of Venice's six great scuola and is located in the San Polo district. It is famous for its valuable furnishings of a large-scale cycle of paintings by Jacopo Tintoretto, created between 1564 and 1588 and consisting of over 60 paintings, which are among his greatest masterpieces.

Even though I lived in Boston for a few years when I was younger, I had never been inside the library. I was very impressed. Good thing I had my trusty Nikon 1 with me. The good thing about the Nikon 1 is how quiet it is and it's small size. The bad is that it's not great in low light. My regular DSLR would have sounded really loud in this quiet place.

White-faced Heron (Egretta novaehollandiae)
Seen near the medical centre on Old Sneydes Rd. This pair often nest nearby in the pumping station grounds.
This caught my eye while in Lucerne. It looks like a bar but given the time the photo was taken, one would think it would be open and full of people, yet it looked empty! So I have no idea what it was but it looked cozy! Ohhh well, it's located next to the main train station of Lucerne, so in case anyone knows, let me know as well in the comments!
Either way I loved the bright red color of that room. And no, it was not what the red color would imply otherwise!!! :-P
