Just going through older images and came across this one. Naturally, this is from an area of Washington called the Palouse.
This week's theme for Macro Mondays: "red". I just love red, but it is so hard to photograph this colour. However, I knew right away what the object would be: these two red dice and I had great fun with them!
Have a great new week everyone! HMM
Thanks for all the views, comments and faves!

The 30 second exposure here allows us to see the way the clouds are rolling in over Great Oyster Bay. I would classify this as minimalistic despite the three layers in the composition. If you enlarge it you'll see the lights of scattered houses along the shore.
In the meadow, cattle graze,
Wind gently passing, a peaceful daze,
Tall grasses sway, wildflowers bloom,
Nature's symphony, a perfect tune.
The cattle roam, with carefree might,
Their presence felt, in morning light,
A scene of beauty, a pastoral dream,
The meadow, a tranquil stream.
The wind picks up, the grasses dance,
The cattle graze, with a rhythmic prance,
In the meadow, time stands still,
Nature's magic, a soothing thrill.
Oh, meadow, you are a haven of peace,
A place of calm, where worries cease,
May you thrive, for all to see,
A precious gift, for you and me.

On a foggy misty hillside, somewhere in the Upper Hunter Valley , atop a mountain with a perpetual flame
This first falls was roaring and I couldn't get down in the creek like I wanted to. I had to duck under the bridge and balance on a rock and log. Loved the light in the forest in the background. Vlog below...
Down on the cobblestone beach in Acadia National Park on a moody day there with clouds over the scene.
Upper Yosemite Falls.
One of Yosemite's oldest historic trails (built 1873 to 1877), the Yosemite Falls Trail leads to the top of North America’s tallest waterfall, which rises 2,425 feet (739 m) above the Valley floor. This trail starts near Camp 4, along the Valley Loop Trail, and immediately begins its climb, switchback after switchback, through oak woodland. You will begin to climb above some trees and into exposed plateaus that offer you a glimpse of what's to come: great views of Yosemite Valley and its many iconic landforms.
