Dodington Park, British 500cc MX GP; 4 July 1976. Until I started copying the slides I had completely forgotten that I had been to this event and it took a little time to remember it. I still can't recall the ride there or back.

One of my vintage motocross photos of Roger DeCoster will be featured in the upcoming product brochure for Bel-Ray Oil! I'm deeply honored and it's my first photo to be used commercially. Thanks Bel-Ray! They compensated me very fairly and I really appreciate it. Their website can be seen here... Bel-Ray I'll post a scanned brochure as soon as it arrives from the printer. I've used Bel-Ray products since the early 70's so it's really a cool deal for me.

Roger chases Rex early in the first moto. He passed Rex after 20 minutes of fast lapping in second place. US fans rooted for Roger as one of their own - there has never been a sportsman with a better public image.
