I love this chair. Our latest completion. I dressed some damage on the rockers and remounted some loose joints then oiled and waxed it before Fiona expertly replaced the seat. It is so light and slender, I think it's gorgeous and am sad to see it go.
We have the look down! Now all I need is some musical talent! Cindy & Roberta have plenty of that- I'm the only one with negative values for _that_ type of talent! Do you think they can cover for me?
We make a great looking band, don't we!
What should we call ourselves? Does anyone have any suggestions?
I really glammed it up for the set with my shiny gold sequined minidress from greatglam.com along with my super shiny Platino Cleancut pantyhose from shapings.com and my gold sequined pumps from electriqueboutique.com!
We really had a great time with our photo shoot! Thanks for getting us together again Cindy!

The camera really loved this guy. He had some serious moves to show off along with all the other Japanese rockers in Yoyogi Park. Surprisingly, his dance style was more breakdance than rock'n'roll.

Photographed through our kitchen window, this starling was waiting to access the fat pellet feeder and a gust of wind 'ruffled' its feathers giving it (in my mind) a punk rocker look. Although we have many starlings locally, they are actually on the UK conservation 'Red List'.
An online Urban Dictionary described a Punk Rocker as "Someone who chooses not to allow the media and society to dictate who the f**k they are, because they choose to take advantage of a functioning brain while they still have theirs and use them to maintain a state of individuality. Punk rock is living it up while you can".
I thought that this description fitted quite nicely with the way that Starlings behave.
What is the benefit of rocker shoes?
Rocker-bottom footwear: effects on balance, gait | Lower ...
“Like foot orthotics, rocker bottoms can offer a number of mechanical remedies, such as inhibiting excessive or painful joint motion, preventing unwanted compensation for immobile joints, diffusing and reducing ground reactive forces, and aiding in the harmony of movement when weight flows through the foot during gait.
UPDATE
Went for my first walk. About 2 miles. WOW, they are fantastic at distributing the weight. I'm ready for 4 miles now lol.
I really like the new BrickForge guitar. I don't have much use for it, but I think it looks really nice with the skater. The girl has a microphone, but you can really see it. There is also a red BrickForge guitar in the background.
The new guitar should be on the BrickForge website soon.
The open boulevards in Ueno Park also attract small groups of Japanese rockers who like to dance to 50s rock'n'roll music.
Ueno, Tokyo, 2001
A rocker rests and exhales smoke while a large crowd of tourists look on. The Japanese rockers gather every fine Sunday in Yoyogi Park to dance to 50s rock'n'roll tunes.
