This Australian Army road train was parked in Chinchilla while the driver checked the load and had a break.
Fellow pluviophiles (rain lovers).
I really got caught this time...drenched...just to take some Sunday photographs.
I came upon this empty road train stopped in western Queensland, it had blown a tyre on the middle trailer and the driver was changing the wheel. You can see the driver changing the wheel if you view the shot full sized; just press the L key.
It's mid May 2022, the sun is out and birds are singing and spring is giving way to summer across Lincolnshire. This was to be another good summer, and the one where the UK finally hit record breaking temperatures of more than 40°c
How goods and services were delivered around the country, before huge distribution hubs . Local railways played a huge part in delivering goods from one end of the country to the other.
