This is the tomb of my great-grandfather's grandfather. He was born in Pratków, Łódź, Poland, on 1857, as Ignacy Błachowicz. He died in Nova Bassano, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, as Inacio Boachowiz.

Today is a very sad day. Queen Elizabeth II who has ruled for the whole of my life, and who, at the age of 21, dedicated her life to serving her country has died aged 96, still serving her country up to the end. RIP

PNWR 1501 made it 71 years of useful life moving freight for the SP & WPRR, but July 19, 2023 it was finally put to rest after the EPA forced it to be sidelined. Hopefully it can at least be preserved.
