There are three servos that move the camera, A 360 degree "Pan" that rotates at approximately 30 degree steps. Another "Tilts" the camera down at set positions and returns it to horizontal. The third servo uses a finger to trip the camera shutter. All controlled by a peanut sized micro processor brain.
Just me testing a new tool for work.
VirtualRig is a gamechanger for images that are supposed to be taken with a camera rig.
Motion Blur in Photoshop is just straight, in contrary to the curved motion blur in a real rigshot.
9 standard RAW exposures HDR, curved motion blur inside Virtual Rig
Met up with a guy that has been waiting forever for me to do a shoot of his car. I managed to get some pretty nice ones, but had to edit a rig shot first as usual.
Shot info: Suction cup rig on the roof of the car, around 16 feet long, shot with sigma 10-20mm lens at 10mm.
Pulled into my local Morrisons petrol station and saw a guy filling up his Ferrari..... what do you do other than jump out and ask if there is any chance you can do a rig shot smile emoticon
Ten minutes later and I am setting up at the bottom end of the Morrisons car park and generating quite a stir as cars are now lining up a little bit away to watch the proceedings
I had 15 minutes and one chance to do this, could only attach the cups in two places as he was very particular so limited things a bit
