A lone balloon sits in front of a framed backdrop of clouds and mountains while on dawn patrol just before sunrise at the Albuquerque balloon fiesta.
While visiting a nearby town, we walked past these two bicycles on a lawn. It appeared to me that the flowers were about to take a bike ride.
A damselfly perches on a green reed next to one of the many lakes in Anchorage. I believe this to be a female but of which species I cannot tell. I could tell she was aware of my presence as she eventually moved around the reed so as to be out of view.

I always get excited when the Roseate Spoonbills fly over, sometimes your ready and sometimes not. I delete so many bits and pices, guess that goes with flight shots.
Come the nightfall, some go to rest at home, others go out to enjoy some nightlife or for a walk. And then there are those who go...
Riding the Blues!
I've always been fond of riding trains. The Rocky Mountaineer runs through the Canadian Rockies and provides spectacular views. I took this image leaning out of the back of a car. I also processed the image with a warm texture to give an "old postcard" look.
At the high altitude of Ladakh, one of the greatest attraction for tourists is riding the double-humped Bactrian camels- a remnant of the Silk trade period when Ladakh had a live trade with Bactria (present day Afghanistan and Tajikistan).
Domesticated Bactrian camels have served as pack animals in inner Asia since ancient times. With its tolerance for cold, drought, and high altitudes, it enabled the travel of caravans on the Silk Road.
From the train station near home.The pink color you see is actually in the sky and it would have shown in any treatment I used,I just enhanced it some here thankyou for commenting/favoriting.
If you want to be a bull rider you've got to start somewhere. This little guy wasn't hurt. He dusted himself off and tried harder the next time. The calf jumped right over him in this calf riding event.
