Yunnan, Baida terraced rice fields at late afternoon on a perfect overlook. Some moving sunspots over the terraces made nice reflections.

Outside Asia, Madagascar has the longest history of rice production. Wetland rice production systems are well developed and rice terraces are frequently found along the roads between Antananarivo and Antsirabe. Rice cultivation is found in almost all districts of the country.
Afternoon in soft backlight at Longsheng Rice Terraces, also called the Longji Rice Terraces.
They are located in Longsheng County, about 100 kilometres (62 mi) from Guilin, Guangxi, China.
We were happy to see this landscape just before the harvest, which was postponed for a few days due to a festival.

Rice cultivation is the main livelihood in Bali. Wayan, a young Balinese man proudly presents the harvest on the road in front of a village temple. Many hands have harvested the rice and now it will be picked up for further processing.
Smile on Saturday, dear friends!

A little health problem since a month with my back, but I am better and I am back. Sorry I'm late, I'll respond to each of your kind comments🙏
This picture was taken in July 2020. I was lucky enough to be able to see the rice field from my window, so when the rice planters arrive, I have a front row seat.
These 2 young men are throwing the rice bunches into the rice field, and then the female planters come in right behind to plant them. This will be the next picture.
I wish you all a great week. Thanks for your visits and comments❤️

On the way between Da Nang and Hue, these rice paddies were flooded by heavy rains that came after the rainy season normally ends. Across the fields you can see a church, probably Catholic, and a school. About 10% of the population is Christian, mostly Catholic, from French colonial days.
Only once a year do the rice fields allow for some reflections. Problem is trying to find locations.
タコライスというとメキシコ料理のように思いますが、それとは別に沖縄で1984年に生まれた沖縄料理です。
挽肉・チーズ・レタス・トマトを米飯の上に載せて食べます。
タコは入っていません。
Taco Rice is like Mexican food, but it is different. It is Okinawa cuisine born in Okinawa in 1984.
We eat minced meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato placed on cooked rice.
Have a wonderful day!

Rice on White is my contribution to this weeks theme. The rice started to dry out so I had to work fast. I used a melon baller to get the right sized portion. I wanted to use some parsley as garnish but I only have the dried, chopped kind and it looked like a fleck of green dirt. Focus stacked fifteen jpegs for this image. The image is about 65mm square. Hmm and thanks for any views, faves and comments.
. . . The view from the corner of Rice Road and Seeley Road this morning, just north of Kalkaska. The colors are spotty, with some trees bare, and others mostly green yet!
The weather today is also spotty, with sunshine, dark clouds, sprinkles, a brief downpour, and then repeat as needed!
Have a great weekend Facebook, Flickr, and 500px friends!
