After years of waning traffic, lost tenants caused by online retail competition, and expansion of nearby competitors, the declining property known as the Riverside Square Mall (until 2005) was bought by Simon Property Group and primed for a luxury makeover.
Britten, a longtime visual branding partner of Simon Group, delivered a host of conventional and specialty retail advertising hardware as part of the overhaul. Designed specifically for Simon's Media Experiences division, Britten’s LED backlit displays delivered beautifully illuminated branding. BannerRail™ remote control ceiling hoists created increased revenue opportunities and saved time and labor cost, while our fabric floor stands lent a luxurious look to advertisers.
Retail experts hailed the Riverside renovations as a strong indication of Simon Property’s commitment to brick-and-mortar retailers and the traditional shopping experience.
