The NUC Five-Star Showcase is looking for Class of 2016 and select 2017 high school athletes that have Division 1 offers and possible under the radar players that we feel can play at the scholarship level! With the NUC Five-Star Showcase now going into its third year, history shows that 90 percent of players that have finished in the Top 5 at each position received scholarships. This is a chance for athletes to prove themselves and compete against other top athletes in individual positional drills and one-on-ones. There is no testing just football related drills and competition.

Prefectul judeţului Cluj, Gheorghe Ioan Vuşcan, a participat duminică, 11 octombrie 2015, în Cimitirul Eroilor din Cluj-Napoca, la ceremonia de comemorare a ostaşilor români căzuți în luptele de eliberare a oraşului Cluj în toamna anului 1944.
În programul manifestării din acest an a fost inclusă şi acţiunea voluntarilor echipei „Invictus România”, intitulată Ştafeta Veteranilor, constând în purtarea drapelului tricolor pe o distanţă de peste o mie de kilometri, pe direcţiile de acţiune ale Armatei României din Campania de Vest. „Ştafeta” care a sosit la Cluj-Napoca a pornit sâmbătă, 10 octombrie 2015, de la monumentul eroilor din Oarba de Mureş, iar în drumul lor purtătorii „ştafetei” s-au oprit pentru scurte ceremonii comemorative în localităţile Luna, Câmpia Turzii şi Turda.
În cadrul ceremoniei solemne desfăşurate la Cluj-Napoca, prefectul judeţului Cluj, Gheorghe Ioan Vuşcan, i-a felicitat pe reprezentanţii Ştafetei Veteranilor 2015 și pe cei care au avut iniţiativa organizării acestui proiect dedicat comemorării Eroilor Armatei României din cel de-al Doilea Război Mondial. De asemenea, prefectul Gheorghe Ioan Vuşcan a oferit Grupului „Invictus România”, din partea Instituţiei Prefectului judeţului Cluj, o plachetă simbolică „În semn de recunoştinţă şi respect pentru implicarea în acţiuni umanitare, pentru efortul şi dăruirea puse în slujba voluntariatului şi a camarazilor, în proiectul PENTRU EROUL MEU 2015”.

SAGINAW— On Sunday, Oct. 5, faithful gathered at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption in Saginaw, where the Most Rev. Joseph R. Cistone, Bishop of Saginaw, celebrated the annual Respect Life Mass. Respect Life Sunday marks the 42nd anniversary of the Respect Life educational program in the Diocese of Saginaw. The program was started by the Catholic bishops of the U.S. in October 1972. The Respect Life Mass allows an opportunity for the Church to focus on life issues.
Riobamba.- Este jueves, 25 convenios de financiamiento y acuerdos de intención por más de USD 141 millones se suscribieron entre el Banco de Desarrollo del Ecuador, BDE y los gobiernos locales de 20 cantones del país, en el marco de la misión Agua Segura y Saneamiento para Todos.
El vicepresidente de la República, Otto Sonnenholzner, junto al gerente general del Banco de Desarrollo del Ecuador, BDE, Carlos Julio Jaramillo, el titular de la Secretaría Nacional del Agua, Humberto Cholango, entre otras autoridades de la provincia, participaron en este evento desarrollado en la parroquia Quimiag, en Chimborazo.
Los fondos otorgados servirán para la construcción de obras de agua potable, alcantarillado sanitario y pluvial que beneficiarán directamente a cerca de 850 mil habitantes de 11 provincias del Ecuador. Al respecto, el segundo mandatario señaló que “se han destinado más de USD 1.500 millones para la ejecución de proyectos en estos ámbitos a nivel nacional. Hoy hemos entregado recursos a 20 municipios del país y tenemos USD 300 millones más por colocar en este año”, aseguró.
Durante este encuentro, también se presentó el Régimen Tributario Simplificado que beneficia a cerca de 10 mil organizaciones comunitarias del agua registradas a nivel nacional. Con este mecanismo, ya no serán agentes de retención y declararán su actividad dos veces al año. “Es una facilidad necesaria para fortalecer la estructura comunitaria y que puedan seguir trabajando por objetivos comunes junto a nosotros”, enfatizó el Vicepresidente.
Por su parte, Humberto Cholango, se refirió a las acciones implementadas en la misión Agua Segura, que “beneficia a más de 2 millones 600 mil personas y ha permitido bajar la desnutrición crónica infantil que es de alrededor del 25% a nivel del país”. Además, destacó que el nuevo régimen tributario “es un beneficio que mejorará la gestión de las juntas comunitarias que abastecen a 3 millones de personas con agua potable y sistemas de riego”.
Así también, el alcalde de Machala, Darío Macas, en representación de los cantones beneficiarios, agradeció las acciones realizadas por el Ejecutivo, “en pleno Siglo 21 el país tenía sed de agua. Tuvo que venir un Gobierno con gente profesional y despojada de la política para servir a la nación”.
Este evento se da en el marco de la conmemoración del Día Nacional de la Gestión Comunitaria del Agua que se celebra cada año, el 14 de septiembre.

This house was built in 1732. It was abandoned and recent restoration efforts were stopped due to high costs.

Em uma cerimônia ocorrida, com a presença de dezenas de autoridades, entre elas o corregedor nacional de Justiça, ministro Mauro Campbell Marques, as procuradoras de Justiça Silvana Nobre de Lima Cabral e Sílvia Abdala Tuma foram empossadas, respectivamente, como novas corregedora e ouvidora-geral do Ministério Público do Estado do Amazonas (MPAM) para o biênio 2025-2027.
