da mandala is a diagram, chart or geometric pattern that represents da cosmos metaphysically or symbolically; a time-microcosm of the universe,
my self imposed long term isolation has caused me to delude myself into thinking dat I'm da center of da universe.

➤ Your image must be a pure, non-representational abstract.
➤ It may NOT contain any recognizable objects or beings. Note: it may be digital art from a blank canvas and/or a photo manipulation, as long as the subject of the photo is not recognizable in the final result.
➤ Your image must convey/embody an emotion.
➤ The title of your image must be a quotation that includes the name of whatever emotion you have chosen. One good source for quotations is www.brainyquote.com/. Song titles are okay too.
➤ Your image must use three distinct colors/hues (besides black and white which are optional). Note: light, medium and dark blue are NOT distinct hues; blue, green and purple are.

There are so many forms of talented artists these days: Like Street artists, Graffiti artists, which brighten up the Urban parts of our cities, and Sculpture artists, which unlike painting, there sculptures are three-dimensional art, allowing you to view a piece from all angles.
And even now? - Some will use a hammer and nails, to perform some cool art, which I found these to be very fascinating to look at and well designed.
I spotted these fantastic abstract Face Illustration Thread Painting on Canvas, from within the inside of the Zellig Building, which is nestled in the centre of Digbeth, Zellig, formerly known as Devonshire House, is the original home of the Bird's Custard Factory. This quirky building has been refurbished, and filled with fine art, sculptures and businesses!
Some Information about this nailing form of ART:
String art is a thread weaving craft that's based on geometry. To make a piece of string art, a person first puts pins or nails into a wooden board
String art or pin and thread art is characterized by an arrangement of coloured thread strung between points to form geometric patterns or representational designs such as a ship's sails, sometimes with other artist material comprising the remainder of the work.
Many thanks for your cool comments and compliments from you here, my good flickr friends !!!
Everyone grumbled. The sky was grey.
We had nothing to do and nothing to say.
We were nearing the end of a dismal day,
And there seemed to be nothing beyond,
THEN
Daddy fell into the pond!

CHEF BETH's theme is "Animal/Vegetable/Mineral/Abstract"! Here are the ingredients:
➤ Your image must be a pure, non-representational abstract.
➤ The source of your abstract must be a photo of a bird and/or a flower and/or a scissors (any one, two or all three).
➤ Your source photo(s) should not be recognizable (or only vaguely so) in the finished image.
➤ Be creative with your title which should convey the concept, composition and/or emotion of your abstract.
➤ You may use no other photos but the one, two or three noted above (though painting and other digital manipulation is fine).
As my bird photo developed into this final image I kept remembering the words of one of my favourite poems - Daddy Fell into the Pond by Alfred Noyes. It always makes me laugh no matter how many times I read it. See the whole poem here
Thank you for taking the time to visit, comment, fave or invite. I really appreciate them all.
