Where Voltaire created "Zadig" and Pierre de Coubertin re-created the modern Olympic Games and the Olympic Movement.
In the Parc Mon Repos this Villa (front) has been the historical Headquarter of the Olympic Movement . Pierre de Coubertin renovator of the Olympic Games and founder of the Movement has establihed here this first HQ in 1920 and created an Olympic Museum in 1922.

Not really a four star movie but one of my favorites from my teen years. I got to check it out again on the big screen (even if it was a digital copy).
Les éléphants de mer mâles sont gigantesques ! On le voit à la comparaison avec les femelles ou les otaries à fourrures. Ils sont souvent recouverts de cicatrices, vestiges de leurs combats pour la domination du harem.
Given that no one was on the lawn, I assumed the sign said, "Dogs and Sailors Keep Off the Lawn." But it doesn't. The “Pelouse Au Repos” signs gracing the lawn, are informing me (albeit in the charming French way) that the grass was “resting,” and thus unfit for human contact.. In the distance is the École Militaire (Military School), a vast complex of buildings housing various military training facilities. Champ de Mars, Paris, France - May 2006.

Le titre est aussi pour moi. C'est la semaine ou je me repose, je ressort les image qui ont du mal à me convaincre moi-même, qui traînent dans les "à publier" mais que je n'arrive pas à jeter.
