"Maman… j'espère que c'est ici qu'on campe, moi je ne bouge plus une oreille" … voilà ce qu'elle me disait avec son petit regard en coin !!!
The largest concentration of nesting marine turtles on the eastern Australian mainland occurs at Mon Repos.
The Rangers measure and tag the turtles after they have laid their eggs
To lay their eggs the turtles have to crawl all the way up the beach to a spot above the high tide line. Digging out the nest with their back flippers takes quite some time and spectators have to remain still until the turtle settles into her egg laying. At this stage the turtle will accept people watching her with minimal lights and movement. The turtle then covers the nest with sand to conceal it from predators

Le soleil se couche, déployant des couleurs de feu dans le ciel. C'est aussi la fin d'une journée de travail et un repos bien mérité.

In the wee hours of the morning this repo man was run over by the car he was repo-ing. As he was quietly rolling this car down a steep driveway he slipped, with the car rolling on top of him. He was trapped by his clothing under the car as L.A. Firefighters cut him out. The repo man was a little embarrassed because his pants was caught under the car, and was cut off by Firefighters who pulled him out. The man suffered some scrapes and bruises but he refused transport. LAPD got the call as a "car thief trapped under a car."
Another Mid Century repo in my area. Someone rewired the house and put the service meter behind that bush...you can see the service lead over the window...thats like crazy design and would be a real problem to redo..why would anyone do something like that. Update 12-28-12...Someone bought the house and cut down the bush...you can really see the meter loop.
