CSX train Q103 is a usual suspect for re-position of empty intermodal cars. Today was no exception. Here it is crossing from Georgia into Florida on Dec 21, 2015.

UP ILTSIR 28 heads past the Metrolink station at Vincent. This train is operating on Metrolink's Valley Sub, historically known as SP's Saugus Line. Prior to the Palmdale Cutoff's construction, all SP freight between Bakersfield and LA went this way. However, today it is an overflow route and most freight runs via Colton. On this day, trains were detouring due to a bridge project on the Palmdale Cutoff.

The rear DPU on UP AMLNGR 16 heads past the grain silos in Wellton, AZ. This lengthy cut of autos is running empty from the distribution facility at Mira Loma to Nogales, AZ, where it will be dispatched to Mexican assembly plants.
