In Fort Collins, Colorado, ARC is on the campus of Colorado State University for the school’s new Housing & Dining Services home, Meridian Village. The near seven-figure project includes almost 34,000 sq ft of asbestos abatement in Aylesworth Hall, one of two dorm sites that will become Meridian Village. The project also includes removal and disposal of more than 1,800 windows with asbestos-containing glazing compound and caulking. Since the university has used our services in the past, and knows first-hand our reputation, school officials opted for the condensed schedule, so our crew of 20-30 started March 14, 2019 and will finish June 7, 2019. Upon completion of our abatement work, another contractor will handle demolition.

The signature W (which was at one point the highest landmark in Vancouver) was scheduled to come down yesterday as they begin the redevelopment project on the Woodwards building. Woodwards will go from a derelict abandoned department store to very pricey condos over the next few years in a transition that is kind of surreal. We have an incredible view of it from our office window, so took photos as they removed the W yesterday.
