Given its relatively remote location in the Wiltshire countryside opposite the Crofton Pumping Station and with the comfort of 81 years to soften the perspective, one wonders exactly what the authorities thought was going to happen.

Remote meetup "How to work with remote teams using Agile"

I've participated as a remote speaker connected with several people in Sao Paulo - Brazil. Where I shared my experience and techniques about how to succeed using agile in a remote and scaled environment.

It was dark night while I was walking alone in a corner in Benaras. It's risky, hazardous, eerie, remote, dark, directionless and lonely alley. I was wandering in between only when I got lost road while returning. One of my most exciting experiences in travel. Million $ experience.

Evrim got a remote control helicopter for xmas from my uncle. Both he and Kofte love it!

This was a project to pass a rainy day. We could not go out, so my dad and I built this remote switch for my rebel XT. I got the rescipe on line. Consists of two SPST momentary switches, one SPST toggle switch, a four conductor telephone cable, and a 3/32 " stereo jack. The red momentary is the shutter release. The black is for focus. The toggle switch would be used for BULB exposures. Cost me $19 for the materials and about 2 hours in labor. Why did I do it? I wanted to spend time with my dad and projects are just about the only way to get him to stay still.

Getting into Sony Freeview remote VTX-D800U

Ok let me first confirm there are no securing screws. The top is secured to the bottom by means of 4 lugs each side and two at the bottom. The lugs are about 8mm long and the centres lie at (measured from the top) 1cm, 7 cms, 10.5 cms and 17.5 cms. The two at the bottom are centredat 1cm in from each side.

As I mentioned before, I had tried separating the two bits first with a screw driver but this looked as though it would damage the plastic before making any progress.

The technique that worked was to use a plastic credit card (use an old one because it caused a bit of delamination on mine). I managed to get it inbetween the two parts half way down the side and then by running it along it sprung the lugs. There didn't seem any way of flexing the lugs in to disengage so you just have to persevere with the credit card.

Once I had got the top off it was apparent that the buttons were all on a single plastic membrane which could be easily lifted off. On the base of each button was a dark pad, which according to the glodark link earlier is actually a metalic powder.

Underneath the two faulty buttons on the black pads and on the suface of the printed circuit was a nasty sticky substance (bl**dy kids!). I managed to gently wipe this off with a very dilute soapy solution and then finish off with some isopropyl alcohol. I just used a cloth for this but then used a toothbrush to clean inside the button moulding.

I put the membrane back over the printed circuit and tested to buttons...absolutely fine, so I then reassembled the two halves by gently pressing the halves together starting with the two at the top and working down.
