A quite different (and more common) view of my daughter... Captured under a beautiful afternoon light during her rowing workout on the Ebro river, on a short visit back home berfore leaving (again!) for the World Rowing U23 Championship training camp past summer.

Una vista algo distinta (y más habitual) de mi hija... Tomada bajo una bonita luz vespertina en un entrenamiento en el Ebro, durante una breve visita de regreso a casa antes de partir (otra vez!) para la concentración de cara al Mundial S23 el año pasado.

Es la Jarrillera de Portugalete (Vizcaya). Estaban subiendo por la rampa el barco, para montarlo en la góndola de transporte. Me gustó el color y el gesto del remero empujando la popa de la trainera. Añadir que ahora son muy ligeras.

The San Remo (1930)
This striking Beaux-Arts style tower at 145 Central Park West is home to several notable names. It dominates the surrounding skyline and can be seen from several areas in the park.
A sunset from the island of La Palma and more precisely from the small town of El Remo.
A "pueblo" of fishermen that seems to come from the past.
Here, time has definitely another meaning and the rhythm of life
is marked by nature.
There are no shops to buy food or even boutiques to visit, but three kiosks
by the ocean, they fully satisfy the needs of the indigenous people and
the few tourists arrived here by mistake!
On Friday evening, then a big party ...
the bar in the center attacks the fryer and, with a few euros you can eat a
packet of "churros" and have a beer with friends!
On the small black sand beach in the center of the town, the few children have fun
inventing bloody battles on improbable vessels in the calm waters of the ocean,
filling your eyes with the beautiful nature and not with the usual pixels ...

Ha batido el récord de España en remoergómetro infantil y cadete. / Esther Briz has won, for the last two seasons, every rowing competition she has attended including four Spanish rowing championships. She currently holds two Spanish records in indoor rowing.
