This is my remake of Muller's picture of Seth Rogan. A few things I did to this photo were to go in and brighten up the background for the pure white color. Also I went in changed the saturation of Ruben's shirt which was maroon before to try and closely match it with the original photo and I raised the contrast to highlight some shadow areas. Some problems I had were getting the same skin tone as the original photo cause Seth Rogan in a pastey guy where Ruben on the other hand has that nice tan going on.

Licht
• Eigenschappen (hard/zacht):
Het licht is vrij hard. Dit zie je aan de duidelijke contrasten tussen licht en schaduw en de scherpe contouren in het gezicht.
• Kenmerken schaduw + naam belichting:
De schaduwen zijn donker en sterk aanwezig, vooral langs de kaaklijn, hals en zijkant van het gezicht.
De foto gebruikt een low-key belichting waarbij veel donkere tinten aanwezig zijn en slechts een deel van het gezicht sterk wordt verlicht.
Dit zorgt voor een dramatische en krachtige sfeer.
• Richting:
Het licht komt van rechtsvoor (vanuit de kijker gezien) en iets van boven. Hierdoor ontstaat schaduw aan de andere zijde van het gezicht.
Techniek
• Diafragma (groot/klein en waarom):
Waarschijnlijk is een groot diafragma (lage f-waarde) gebruikt.
Het gezicht is scherp terwijl de achtergrond volledig egaal en donker blijft, waardoor alle aandacht naar het model gaat.
• Brandpuntsafstand (groothoek/standaard/télé):
Waarschijnlijk een standaard- tot telelens (ongeveer 70–100 mm).
Het gezicht oogt natuurlijk zonder vervorming en het beeld heeft een flatterend perspectief.
Standpunt fotograaf
• Ooghoogte/kikker-/vogelperspectief:
De foto is genomen op ooghoogte.
Hierdoor voelt het portret direct en persoonlijk aan.
Houding model
• Het model ondersteunt haar hoofd met haar hand.
• De houding is rustig en gecontroleerd.
• De blik is recht naar de camera gericht, wat zorgt voor een sterke en zelfverzekerde uitstraling.
• De pose straalt elegantie en kracht uit.
Kader
• Verticaal/horizontaal:
De foto is verticaal gekaderd.
• Plaatsing binnen kader:
Het model staat iets meer aan de rechterkant van het beeld.
Links blijft veel donkere negatieve ruimte over, wat de aandacht extra naar het gezicht trekt.
De donkere achtergrond versterkt het minimalistische en dramatische effect.
