was able to capture a variety of solar shots today. Here is a variety including closeups of the current active regions, massive prominence activity, whitelight full disc imaging and some Earth/Jupiter overlay for perspective. Clouds did come in before I could complete my detailed mosaic, however got a bunch of shots of the interesting areas so thats fairly satisfying for now! check out the story for wallpapers.

In the small town of Weston, about 20 miles east of Pendleton, teacher Craig Angell and his Weston Middle School students created “thank you” cards for the ODOT District 12 Pendleton Maintenance crew, who plow the state routes in the area.
To let the kids know how much their gesture meant, students were invited to name one of the Pendleton crew’s snowplows, and arranged a visit to the school — with a snowplow — on March 15. The students submitted three potential names: “White Out,” “Snow Slayer” and “Baby Snowda.” The Pendleton crew chose “Baby Snowda.”
