I spent a long time refining my take on the Eta-2 Interceptor. My goal was to create a compact and proportionally faithful build with lots of detail, and I believe this creation to be a modest success in that regard. Although its only play feature is the ability to freely rotate the astromech droid, it is very swooshable.
I drew inspiration from a lot of different Eta-2 MOCs while making my own. The forward part of the wings is based on ClassicBrix's interceptors with embellishments to the "paint job" akin to those found on Luke Skybuilder's interceptors, the main body of the wings and the aft details are inspired by Thomas Jenkins' interceptors, the S-foils are almost the same as those found on the No1LikesCherry/BAUFman Bricks/community interceptor, and the upper half of the fuselage is based on 2Bricks' interceptors.
Dimensions: 13 cm x 11 cm x 6 cm (1:42 scale)
After the pieces are welded I refine them with a bench grinder, dremel, sandpaper and buffing wheel.

Ceramics I
Objective: Refining coil techniques to create an abstract ceramic sculpture. This project is to contain coil construction.
Abstract Art - Art, including painting, sculpture, and graphic art, that does not represent recognizable objects. Also know as nonobjective art or nonrepresentational art.
Ceramics II - You do not have to include coil building, but if you chose not to coil, part of your sculpture or more should be thrown.
Ceramics III & IV - Your sculptural can be made in any construction method you prefer. Your pre-approved final project can be in place of this project.
For Everyone
A picture/drawing is required for this assignment and should be available at the critique for this project . Remember you’re not copying someone else’s art. Measurements must be figured out before starting and pieces must be approved by the instructor. We have a limited amount of time and size is a concern. Project much be at least 4x4x4 inches and no more then 8x8x8 inches.
Your pieces are graded on completion, project requirements, technique & content, effort & originality, and presentation & attractiveness.
Considerations:
How am I going to construct this piece?
Will the piece be balanced without worry?
Pick a subject you will enjoy working on.
Don’t work too fast. If you work too fast and put too much weight on the piece too quickly it will collapse and you will have to start over.
How am I going to glaze/finish the piece. (bisqueware is unfinished and not accepted at the final semester critique)
