My keen inductive reasoning skills lead me to hypothesize that the red pine trees marked with a bright fluorescent orange stripe like this are likely headed for a fall–as a saw log or because the tree must be removed to promote forest health. After taking the photograph I learned that there is such a thing as the Ontario Tree Marking Certification Course, which, apparently, is the expected level of qualification to mark trees in the York Regional Forest. Who knew?

I have a small salon and don’t have the space for retail. Any suggestions?
It’s more important to consider what you will do with your limited space. Often a metre wide will be enough! The important thing is to think about the environment you are creating- it is far more beneficial to have a small one metre retail area that works for you than a large area that doesn’t shift stock.
A custom built unit is obviously best. Olymp do some stunning retail units that can be made to measure, or if you’re on a budget and want to use an existing unit then think about how you can make a feature of the area through lighting. LED lights are inexpensive now and make a big difference to retail units- they really give the space its own identity.

2) The lighting on this photo gives the statues arms really prominent and the light also brings out the detail in his curly hair. Also the shadows created by his head and neck onto his chest help show the texture and shape of the statue.

This is part of a larger 9 panel zentangle that I drew. I drew all 9 cards together, then cut them apart after mounting on a card stock backing.
There were many high school/middle school students out this day. Daniel was one who spoke openly. Sadly, in the Catholic School he attends he is losing his faith (his words) because of what he is being taught and because no one would answer his questions. In the short time I was able to shed a bit of light on several questions. I do pray the LORD lets it take hold.

I have an existing retail area that is not doing particularly well, but I don’t have a huge amount of stock. Could this be the reason why are stock levels that important?
