Halloween is here! And my angel and I are trying to see as many haunted houses, sims and places on the Second Life grid.
So far, my favorite place is still The Funhouse by PantzerHamzter Petshop! But I also liked the House of Horrors, too. One was mental horror while the other was classic Halloween icons.
Xavier and I went to The Love Bugg Haunted House. My SL brother Stig had gone there w/ my sister-in-law, Leo. They had a blast... so he sent me an LM.
Sooo fun. What was cool though is that we didn't have to struggle with navigation. It was basically a teacup ride through horror! Very well done. Try to go soon. There were a lot of avies there!
Happy Halloween!
Once you have highlighted, cropped and framed three pictures loaded in an album titled, “Realms of Reflection Creatures of the Centrefold,” it is surely time for, “Creatures of the Centrefold Realms of Reflection.” These pictures are all created from the symmetrical pattern made by placing two copies of the same image together. One needs to have been flipped our set into a mirror image of the original. Images can be arranged along horizontal, or vertical centrefold. The patterns in the centre bring to life fantastic creatures and curious creations. Through the concept of pareidolia we can gain insight on how we perceive faces in both light and shadow. Through pareidolia we can look into why we are constantly trying to greet, or to guard against tricks, or treats. Our old ways of staying safe and of recognising hazard is possibly alive and well in our primal animal senses. Those senses were once essential to react with the natural world for us all to be able to cope with threats and to see what to trust and what to regard as a threat. Those senses also give us some of our perceptions that build into our appreciation of art and architecture. The way we arrange objects into patterns and build ratios into our world is also among our keys that we make to unlock our world when presented with patterns we cannot change we either take to them, or look away from them. The different creations you see in both the, “Creatures of the Centrefold Realms of Reflection,” and “Realms of Reflection Creatures of the Centrefold,” might be clue to who and how you choose to be close to in life? Reach out to the Gnostic Shaman in you and see what you can see not just in my pictures, but in yours and many others too.

The tunnel is a medium. A medium of transition, from reality to your fantasy, and your dreams. The other side for which a space unknown, shall allow thoughts to bloom and hallucinations to be concieved. A realm of expressive gestures surfacing from the deepest unconscious, reflects the desires of the desires.

Gathering firewood, I noticed a strange growth on the top of a small branch; when I turned it over, this is what I found. I counted twenty toadstools growing inside its hollow.

Öndheim is known as the Realm of the Spirits. It is a place where departed souls take rest during their journey from the mortal realm to the what lays ahead.
Heavily inspired by Nordic and Viking landscaping/architecture, featuring ancient stone structures in a cold mountain region in front of the sea, that fights in opposition with the fire element.
The land is embraced in a hazy and magical atmosphere, with teal, light green and aquamarine colours.
Öndheim is a shopping region ... ( but so much more than that!) and it is Sponsored by Belle Epoque & Harshlands
Region created by Kadaj Yoshikawa and Janire Coba
