This is a new version of a photo I took Dec 29, 2019. There was a real white-out blizzard on the top of the mountain so we took the gondola down to the base. That gave me a chance to take a photo with an old Canon Powershot I sometimes carry in my pocket.

Taken in July - it was foggy for 3 days on the beaches of the Cape.
Almost SOOC - I only adjusted the levels a bit, as i forgot to dial in an exposure compensation - should be at +2/3 to +1EV when shooting in such foggy conditions to get real white and not only gray. I wasn't sure if i should brighten up the bottom of the photo too, but I decided that the gradient from pure white to a bright gray gives the photo more depth.

Grey skies and maybe 4C today. I took a bike ride to the beach. This is the big Christmas tree on the square at Årsta Havsbad, between the taverna and the grocery store, both closed for the season. It was very calm today so I think I got a few good photos of the bay. A few people had a BBQ down by the water. I also spotted one guy out flying a wooden model airplane. I told him that it looked like a good Christmas gift. Over at the driving range at Fors Golf one guy was busy practicing his golf swing. So no real White Christmas in my neck of the woods this year. Day 55 in my project 100 Days Of Darkness.
This is the road from Torridon to Inveralligin and Lower Diabaig. It was the second time I had gone along this road and been forced to turn back by the threat of a snow storm. The first time, five or so years ago, the storm beat me and I got caught in a real white-out. This time I beat the storm, at least as far as Torridon!

A unique glass replica of White Tower crafted of 500 pieces of glass on display inside the real White Tower in Hradec Králové in Czech Republic. This renaissance style tower is the highest landmark of the city (72 meters) offering visitors a unique view of the city and the remote peaks of Giant Mountains and Eagle Mountains.
It was so big that I could not fit it all in using my tiny camera. I tried and tried, climbing the surrounding staircase several times, clicking and angling and huffing and puffing and panning. And this is all I got.
In White Sands National Park while walking the Alkali Flat Trail with a view looking to the west across the white sands and dune formation present. My thought on composing this image was to go wide angle with the image captured. I wanted to have that feel of standing in amazement while on a dune ridge and looking across this desert landscape. I knew that the more distant mountains would be a little flattened out, but I attempted to angle my Nikon SLR camera slightly downward to bring them higher end of the horizon and perhaps minimize that.

A Dozen White Flowers - a blend of a dozen white flower photographs, all licensed under Creative Commons, edited, superimposed, and post processed.
This is my follow-up to Flowers for Anne, Six Red Flowers, and Liquid Red Flowers. I decided the whiter this image, the better. I wanted to see if I could blend whites together and create something bright and beautiful, like a real white flower, rather than just something pale, blurred, and washed out.
What do you think?

When they landed their last mission before leave we started talking, I am not sure I like the way Miss has become since the separation of her and Krrr I will try to recall our conversation as far as I recall it, then you can be the judge... or something?
- (Irena) Hey BB! last mission for this campaign, then and miss have a week free, a week!!!
- (Miss) Yeah, ha, ha, we really nailed those plutoids, like stealing a power-crystal from a clone...
- (BB) Oh Great girls, I am also free this week, since our mission here is ended, so shall we all do something cool together?
- (Miss) Well it would have been cool, but we have already made plans, this weekend we are going to the party planet, I mean I have been faithful to Krrr for years now, I need to get out and booze, drink, dance, flirt and perhaps if I am lucky I will meet a real white-headed Tri-Phone, not afake one with dyed head... ha, ha, ha...
- (Irena) Yeah, I am gonna leave the best for my sister from another brood, she needs it, all those years with the same tri-phone she needs to widen her horizon... but We would invite you, but we know how faithful you are to your precious wife, so it would end up the same as last time... you sitting in a corner with a passed out mengelite cyborg that you think is listening to you going on about how dull you are... and how much you love your wife... ha, ha!

When I saw this beauty going into the water it reminded me of a swan boat that I saw once and that reminded me of a story I read recently. In Muenster Germany there is a black swan they have named Petra, that fell in love with a swan paddleboat and would swim next to it always and would not leave, when winter came they had to put the swan and the boat in the zoo, so as to protect the swan as she would not leave the boat even in winter. Then a day came when she met a real white male swan and left with him, they say he abandoned her a month later and they have reunited her with her beloved swanshaped paddle boat and as of the writing of the story in March of this year, she was still with him.
