HELLO's, GOODBYE's AND BEING LATE- #realtalk- August 10, 2016
Today's #VLOG is up 😊. I been doing these #dailyvlogs for over a week now and I thought I'd say a few words just to thank you guys. Maybe explain why I'm doing this.
Other than that- I just been busy, with the new work, living a #healthylife and Trying to keep a stable routine. It absolutely hard to balance out everything in my life but these VLOGs have reminded me how blessed I am everyday.
It's really important to never take these days for granted. Never take things for granted... 😁👍

Some of the things I learned in my short stint in hong kong:
1. Do not help people cross the street, especially old ladies. The reason? Because there have been instances where old ladies have tripped and fell, and sued the poor bastard for creating her injury, and will therefore have to pay for her medical bills. Not only will those medical bills cover the small injuries from falling over, but the many 100s of other ailments that she probably has, but couldn't pay for to begin with, thereby forcing the poor bastard to pay for all of it. There are no good samaritan laws in Hong Kong. That is fucked.
2. Cage Homes. Not only do people choose to pay $1500 HKD (roughly $200 USD) to live in modern day slave shelters, but there have been instances that pregnant women from mainland China have been choosing to live there as well. The reason for this is because once the pregnant woman gives birth to her child, the child automatically becomes a Hong Kong citizen, and thus the entire family can start the paperwork to immigrate to Hong Kong rather than staying in China. That is fucked.
3. Claims of transparency in Chinese Labour is garbage. They claim transparency through placing giant placards on the outside of their construction sites indicating number of hours worked, number of employed workers, number of accidents that have occurred through the duration of its construction so far. They also claim that workers only work from Mon-Sat, and that Sun is always a day of rest. Well I assure you, people are working in these construction sites; it just so happens that the work they are doing is silent, such as running cables, or electrical wires, rather than construction that you can hear from a mile away. Nice try retards. Maybe you shouldn't hire a cross-eyed retard as a security guard to stop me from seeing it. That is fucked.
4. Regular police patrolman are a farce. They seek no interest in stopping violence, and instead only seek to protect the property of the rich, and enforcing laws in their own comfort zone. They will tell you to move your vehicle outside of a non-parking zone, but refuse to stop active fights involving over a dozen people. Why the fuck do you people get issued firearms then? That is fucked.
5. Hong Kong, you've made me less of a decent human being in 3 weeks in being here. I hope you've fixed yourself up when I get back.
