Welcome to 'Project 23', a visual exploration led by travel photographers Samuel Jeffery and Audrey Bergner. This striking image captures the lively essence of a street market in Buenos Aires, Argentina, presented through a dynamic Dutch angle. The tilted perspective emphasizes the historic architecture lining the bustling sidewalk, creating a sense of movement and energy. Vendors have set up their stalls, draped in vibrant yellow and blue tarps, inviting locals and tourists alike to browse their wares. Intricate details of the colonial-style buildings contrast beautifully with the bright green foliage of the distant trees. A pigeon caught mid-flight adds a spontaneous touch to the vibrant urban scene. Shadows stretch across the patterned sidewalk tiles, highlighting the bright, sunny atmosphere of the Argentine capital. In the background, a modern tower peeks out, showcasing the blend of old and new that defines Buenos Aires. While Samuel Jeffery, Audrey Bergner, and Daniel Bergner are exploring these streets, they are not distinctly visible in this particular market crowd. This photograph serves as a testament to their dedication to capturing the authentic, everyday rhythm of the city.

A heavily weathered, fire-engine red vintage pickup truck anchors this gritty urban streetscape, its rusted body bearing the scars of decades on the road. The most striking feature is its shattered windshield, which has been meticulously and chaotically patched together with thick layers of transparent packing tape that catch a blazing, golden reflection of the sun. On the driver's side door, a faded emblem of a horse profile enclosed in a circle adds a touch of localized character to the decaying vehicle. Shot with a deep depth of field, the natural late-afternoon light creates sharp contrasts, illuminating the peeling white paint on the hood and the deep, oxidized oranges of the truck bed. A bright yellow utility pole slices diagonally through the foreground, framing the left side of the composition and adding an abrupt pop of primary color against the muted urban tones. To the lower right, a bulky object shrouded in a plastic tarp printed with green dots and multi-lingual industrial text juxtaposes the vintage metal with modern debris. In the background, the architectural fabric of Buenos Aires reveals itself through a red brick facade and a prominent yellow "VENDE" real estate sign, hinting at neighborhood transitions. A passing silver sedan is captured with a slight motion blur, contrasting the stagnant, abandoned nature of the red pickup and the parked royal blue classic car just behind it. Graffitied scrawls, notably the name "DANI" painted in bold black letters on the grey stucco wall, further cement the raw, authentic street-level atmosphere of the barrio. This tableau perfectly encapsulates the city's enduring resilience, where derelict vehicles become semi-permanent fixtures of the urban topography. The composition effectively leads the eye from the textured decay of the immediate foreground straight into the layered, lived-in reality of the Argentine capital. This image is a collaborative production by Samuel Jeffery and Audrey Bergner for Project 23.

I've never seen that mark before, but maybe that's just me?

Odd to us in Australia is this real estate sign on a building which has been sold in Port Isaac, England. In Australia, the term, 'Sold' or 'Under Contract' is used.
