I find dragonflies interesting so I tried to get a shot of this fellow before he took off.

Its not a perfect image as per say with a macro lens but I thought I'd share it anyway.

Hello guys,

Sorry I haven't been on for awhile and I have probably missed some good shots I bet.

But my youngest daughter was sick with covid and my wife and I was sick as well and on top of all this was other things going on, sooo lol....

I haven't been on Flickr much or out with the camera for that matter at all.

Anyway here is a older shot because I haven't been out and I thought I'd use this as a post/message.

I captured this Cardinal where he was eating berries down in the woods while the sun was setting on his left side kinda highlighted him and the berries with a snowy bokeh background. He had his eye on me tho!

I might not get out to shoot till this weekend??

We will see? But at least you know why I haven't commented on your work my friends and why I haven't posted anything.

Home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This is a very large cattle watering trough which was behind a very old barn.

This barn I'm talking about can be seen in my photostream and its named ( GOOD OLD DAYS )

Beyond the watering trough past the fence is a large open cornfield.

The heavy overcast day gave me the opportunity to create a moody perspective in this capture!

This is my brother Rob with a monster Pike he caught while trolling through Chippewa Harbor. We had only fished for about 15 minutes before it hit. It was the first Pike we caught this trip. (definetly not the last, we ended up landing about 30 pike, this being the largest, and lost just about as many.) 7 inch perch colored Rapala was the lure used. The funny thing about this shot was that just before this fish hit, Rob set his Fishing pole in the pole holder so he could take off his long johns, as it was getting really warm that day. He also had one shoe off as well and I have a vertical shot of him and the pike that shows the missing shoe and the loosened belt. This fish weighed 24 Lbs.
