Another picturesque town on the Italian Riviera coastline. It’s known for the hilltop Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montallegro, a pilgrimage site with sea views. The Castello di Rapallo, a 16th-century fortress captured on this image, sits on the waterfront. It is locates +/- 20 minutes southwest of the more famous and spectacular Portofino village.

Rapallo est une ville italienne d'environ 30 500 habitants, située dans la ville métropolitaine de Gênes, dans la région Ligurie, dans le nord-ouest de l'Italie.
Le château de Rapallo est un château situé au bord du golfe de Gênes, dans la ville italienne de Rapallo, construit à la deuxième moitié du XVIè siècle.
Il est positionné, contrairement à d'autres châteaux ou forteresses ligures, en face de l'eau sur la promenade Vittorio Veneto.
À l'intérieur se trouve une petite chapelle dédiée à saint Gaétan, construite en 1688 avec une coupole caractéristique avec sa cloche, bien visible à l'extérieur du château.
Le château est classé monument national italien par le ministère des Biens culturels.

Spettacolo pirotecnico del sestiere Costaguta a cura della Mazzone Pirotecnica. Lo spettacolo sarebbe dovuto essere abbinato come di consueto alla sparata del ramadan del 2 luglio, ma è stato rimandato di ventiquattr'ore a causa delle avverse condizioni del mare dei giorni scorsi.
