Former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist who died on March 19, 1982
Mt. View Cemetery
San Bernardino, California.
I was visiting a neighboring city for my work and when I remembered that his cemetery was nearby I decided to drive out one evening. I've been a huge fan of his music since I was a young teen in the early 80's, and to find myself finally standing at his grave after all those years was definitely a bittersweet experience. Of course, most metal fans will know Randy as Ozzy's original guitarist who was responsible for some of his best material like Crazy Train, Mr. Crowley, and Flying High Again, among many others. Randy died in the crash of a small private plane while on tour with the band near Leesburg, Florida.
The white structure to the left of the entrance sign is RR's tomb.
