I was randomly snapping and took this, I really like it but can't say exactly why, I think it's because he is more in focus than the rest of the people and the contrast of his hat/shirt against the lurid yellow background.

Dendrobium kingianum flowers.

These a just random flowers from a bunch of unnamed hybrids growing untamed in a sandstone retaining wall near the front fence. These plants have to fend for themselves, they don't get flowered, watered, weeded, protected from pests, fertilised and occasionally there have been accidents with wipper snippers when attending to the lawn above - and still they flower.
