Taken while holding short of RWY 01 at holding point Q0, waiting for take off clearance.

The airplane in the foreground holding at Q1 is a Boeing 737-800 (B-5582), the wide body plane in the back on taxiway K is a Boeing 767.

This were definitely CAT III conditions. Fortunately the smog is not always that thick (aerial view of downtown Beijing).

One of the few aircraft left that still arrives in Brussels Airport - Zaventem. Almost shocking to see and hear almost no aircraft movement on such a huge airport. Looking forward for better times.

Sunset at Royal William Yard.

Rolling out after landing, and are here shortly before rwy. exit A1. Nice backlighting due to runway inspection vehicle entering the rwy. right after landing and following the airplane.

Not a lot of cloud movement going on and this is the most I could force from the sky we encountered that morning.

RWY is a place of some grandeur for a military establishment, built to last and to impress and it fills that brief to this day. I have always struggled here and find that whatever I do ends up mono, maybe that's because RWY is monochromatic really, I don't know? Whatever, I quite like this and hope you do too.

The Royal William Victualling Yard in Stonehouse, a suburb of Plymouth, England, was the major victualling depot of the Royal Navy and an important adjunct of Devonport Dockyard. It was designed by the architect Sir John Rennie and was named after King William IV.[1] It was built between 1826 and 1835 and occupies a site of approximately 16 acres (65,000 m2) being half of Western Kings, north of Devil's Point.
