Eating bramble leaves the texture on his antlers are called bearded or pearled and are fully grown here with 3 points on each antler. I do love these deer such a sweet face :-))
Many thanks for stopping by always appreciated.
Golden light at the Roe Estuary Nature Reserve, at Myroe, Northern Ireland. The setting sun lit Binevenagh Mountain in the distance and coincided with a high tide filling the gullies in the fields which gave some nice reflections.
I met this Roe Deer under a tree that releases pollen, looks almost an artistic effect.
Il capriolo bianco
Ho fotografato questo Capriolo sotto uno dei pochi alberi da polline in zona da me; alla fine ho ottenuto un effetto quasi artistico.

Spotted this little one early this morning near home (Dumfries & Galloway) - its Mum was nearby - Watched and photographed from the car window. You just have to love 'new life!'
An image taken in gloomy weather with a high ISO, so it's quite noisy. The local farmer had allowed Poppies, Cornflower and Corn Marigold to thrive in one of his fields, providing a very colourful setting for this grazing Roe Deer. Image taken near Duthill, Highlands.
Earlier I already posted a picture of this roe in between the bushes where she has fled into it because of a passing cyclist (www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/53962995818/in/datepo...). This was a moment before when she was grazing very peacefully although she had found out there was somebody pointing a camera at her.
It is one of those moments that you remember for the rest of your life because the whole setting breathed peace and tranquillity. For me the reason to go out as much as possible. With nature I connect, far away as possible from human society.
