A obra “Aboio, a Poesia do Vaqueiro” foi lançada no dia 04/11/2015, às 20 horas, na área ao lado da antiga Estação Ferroviária, no Centro do município norte-rio-grandense, como parte da programação do Circuito Nacional de Exibição da quinta edição. O projeto é realizado pelo Instituto Marlin Azul com patrocínio da Petrobras.
Bem no coração da caatinga, onde reina o semiárido, vive um brasileiro resistente e devoto. Mas é na solidão do sertão e na lida rude sem trégua que nasce uma das mais autênticas expressões poéticas deste trabalhador do nordeste. O aboio, como é conhecido o canto dos vaqueiros, é o tema da história contada pelo radialista Francisco Tárcio Araújo, morador de Lajes, no Rio Grande do Norte.
