Okey, so...
Where do I start...
Two people sent me a PM with the pictures where I put Warper pieces. Just, 2! Dx
I know I can't blame you guys, because you don't have the obligation to play, but it's truly disappointing. When I came up with the idea I was quite sure people would love it because I have seen a lot of discouragement in other type of contest because the differences of skill or materials, but this one was accessible to everyone... u.u Of course, well, I can tell that the prizes weren't exciting either, but it takes money to sent sets or buy commisions, and the play was quite simple for that.
When I realized no one more would join, I gave this some thought and came up with some flaws. Maybe the search area was to wide, and I should have limited it to my Flickr gallery (because dA would be too small =P). Maybe I hid some too well (I wanted to add some challenge, but I don't think I overdid it... It's only my opinion though).
But I think the main issue was the "first comes, first serves" base. After the first days, people would suppose there was already a winner and wouldn't bother. I should have changed the placements every week so you would challenge yourselves again. Or maybe I should have chosen a winner at random from all the participants.
Excuse the ranting, but I still think this has a very good concept of a contest for everyone, but it's useless if no one plays, so I want to know if I made mistakes in the development of it or I was wrong of thinking you would be interested on it (nothing bad about it, eh!). I would like to know your opinion because if you like the idea, I'll do it better next time. ^^
Anyways, to the point - since there were only two contestants, I decided to give them both a prize. Specially because the second one sent me the PM several days later - he didn't give up and deserves a prize for that!

How does that saying go? 'The more you look for something, the harder it is to find it'? Well it might be true because as hard as I'm looking for the new bratz lines & my favorite gorgon both are playing hard to get with me. Not that the stores are barren or even lacking in new inventory, far from it, but my most wanteds are not present. That said, I did snag two lovely ladies & while I'm on the fence over one, I am definitely loving the other!
Im really in love with the way she turned out! her name is inspired by the fact that she kind looks like christina augilera and Elsa mixed together LOL any ways enjoy!
Longer nights result from the autumnal equinox, and sunrises now take longer. This sunrise lasted 30 minutes!

Another extremely creative design. The fig draws from various concepts and ideas, and portrays them extremely well. Also, the colors on the armor really blend with the undershirt. Great fig.

Another really, really great fig! The sculpting all over the fig is superb, making for a really nice armor look. Also, the use of a custom face and hairpiece really appeal to me. Great work!

The only problem with flirty Friday is that you could find yourself in the family way.
The course of action is for the man to marry the poor unfortunate woman.
It's done. I tried to do a daily-building challenge, and was able to manage 22 out of 31. I'm pleased with the result.
2.5X resolution increase by hand-stitching 3 frames. Not a perfect result, you can see the join lines if you look closely for them.
This is after setting up the Asahi Pentax Copystand II but before receiving the linear stage for precise shift of the negative.
Negative was taped to a piece of anti-newton ring glass for flatness and a homemade 6x4.5 plastic mask was used on a cs-lite to block extraneous light. There is less lighting irregularity than when the essential film holder is used, but still some, which is easily correctable in processing at least for black and white. f/8 and 1/60 was used to the digitization, at almost but not quite 1:1.
The process takes a few hours right now so not practical for large number of images, I'm hoping that with the linear stage, rotation will stay constant and it can be made faster. It should also help with the join lines.

The German-Italian-Spanish coproduction Der Letze Mohikaner/The Last Tomahawk (Harald Reinl, 1965), based on the classic novel by James Fenimore Cooper, was a typical Euro-Western. The stars were Joachim Fuchsberger, Karin Dor, Anthony Steffen as Hawkeye and Spanish actor Daniel Martín a.k.a. Dan Martin as Unkas, the son of the chief of the Mohicans.
Der Letze Mohikaner (aka El último Mohicano in Spain and La valle delle ombre rosse in Italy) was filmed in 1964 in Almería in Andalucía (Spain), in La Ciudad Encantada, Cuenca (Spain) and in the CCC-Atelier in Berlin-Spandau, Germany. It was distributed by Constantin, the German company which had produced the Western Der Schatz im Silbersee/Treasure of Silver Lake (Harald Reinl, 1962). This successful Karl May adaptation had lead to a new European film genre, the Euro-Western. Harald Reinl had also directed the sequels Winnetou - 1. Teil/Apache Gold (1963) and Winnetou - 2. Teil/Last of the Renegades (1964) starring Pierre Brice as Winnetou and Lex Barker as Old Shatterhand, and now he was back to helm Der Letzte Mohikaner (1965). Co-producers of Der Letzte Mohikaner were International Germania Film in Bonn, Producciones Cinematograficas Balcázar in Barcelona, Procusa Films in Madrid, and Cineproduzioni Associate Srl in Rome, so it was a real trans-European production.
Der Letze Mohikaner was based on the historical novel 'The Last of the Mohicans' by James Fenimore Cooper Cooper, first published in 1826. It was one of the most popular English-language novels of its time, and was the second book of the Leatherstocking Tales pentalogy and the best known. 'The Pathfinder', published 14 years later in 1840, is its sequel. Der Letze Mohikaner was the 13th film version of Fenimore Cooper's novel and there were still eight more film and TV versions to come. The 1920 version directed by Clarence Brown and Maurice Tourneur is well regarded, as is George Brackett Seitz's 1936 version starring Randolph Scott as Hawkeye. The most recent version was also one of the best adaptations: The Last of the Mohicans (Michael Mann, 1992), starring Daniel Day Lewis as Hawkeye, Madeleine Stowe as Cora Munro, and Inuit actor Eric Schweig as Uncas. However many of the scenes from the 1992 film did not follow the book.
The story of the novel takes place in 1757 during the Seven Years' War (known in America as the French and Indian War), when France and the United Kingdom battled for control of the American and Canadian colonies. During this war, the French often allied themselves with Native American tribes in order to gain an advantage over the British, with unpredictable and often tragic results. The story is set in the British province of New York, and concerns a Huron massacre (with passive French acquiescence) of from 500 to 1,500 Anglo-American troops, who had honorably surrendered at Fort William Henry, plus some women and servants; the kidnapping of two sisters, daughters of the British commander; and their rescue by the last two Mohicans, and others.
In the film version Der Letze Mohikaner, Alice (Marie-France) and Cora Munro (Karin Dor) attempt to find their father (Carl Lange), a British officer in the French and Indian War. They are set upon by French soldiers and their cohorts, Huron tribesmen led by the evil Magua (Ricardo Rodriquez). Fighting to rescue the women are chief Chingachgook and his son Unkas (Daniel Martín aka Dan Martin), the last of the Mohican tribe, and their white ally, the frontiersman Natty Bumppo, known as Falkenauge/Hawkeye (Anthony Steffen). The other hero of the film is Captain Hayward, played by Joachim Fuchsberger. Ma Cortes at IMDb reviews the film: "This is an exciting film, plenty action, thrills, fights, love and breathtaking outdoors from Almeria. Acceptable action sequences with rousing attacks and spectacularly realistic battles. Charismatic performance for all casting. The notorious Spaghetti actor, Anthony Steffen is good as Hawkeye and Karin Dor, director's wife, is wonderful. Special mention to Daniel Martín as honorable Unkas and Ricardo Rodriguez as Magua as an appropriately villainous in a powerful performance. Look for secondary actors usual of Spaghetti Western as Frank Braña, Rafael Hernandez and Chris Huerta, among others. Colorful cinematography by Francisco Marin reflecting splendidly the sunny exteriors from the haunted city of Cuenca and Almeria where in the 1960s and 1970s were shot hundreds Spaghetti Westerns. The film was not a huge success though, but the novel stayed popular. The phrase 'the last of the Mohicans' has now been used often proverbially to refer to the sole survivor of a noble race or type. In 2011, The Last of the Mohicans was parodied as The Last of the Meheecans in the popular animated series South Park. In this episode, the character of Butters, who has become lost in the woods after playing Border Patrol with the other boys, finds himself to be the 'last of the Meheecans' (meaning Mexicans on his team).

True, I do wear a skirt and top, or even slacks, on occasion, and I like wearing them. But dresses have special significance. Perhaps that's a result of growing up in an era (the 1950s) when females wearing dresses was a regular occurrence. In my eyes that in itself made girls so very different, and I was fascinated.
That feeling has stayed with me into my adulthood, and I'm glad it has.
