This was taken in front of the temple in Toa Payoh, Singapore. This is the place where they have the most spectacular lotus flowers seen until now and also you can get very close to them.

Sooooo, I really ought to write down where I take my images. This one, I think, was Toogood Arm. If not that community then it was one of the others on New World Island.
The entire area was quaint, quiet, and beautiful, but I explored it on a grey day and didn't get many images I was happy with. The dark clouds arrived for this though and while rain wan't the best for wandering, it did give me a nice mood.

Got really lucky that the morning was so calm and the water was still, except for the occasional duck. On the left is the South Sister and on the right is Broken Top.
Located in the heart of Central Oregon just 25 miles west of Bend, Sparks Lake is a large, shallow lake. Situated near the northwest edge of Mount Bachelor, the lake boasts spectacular views of Broken Top and South Sister in addition to Mount Bachelor. Sparks Lake was formed by volcanic activity in the area over 10,000 years ago. Pristine alpine streams flow into this beautiful lake.
Sparks Lake is a natural body of water near the crest of the central Cascade Range in Deschutes County.
Really enjoyed doing this. Took a lot of time but we certainly learn new skills in the Group. Thanks Maria.

When the humidity of the night rising up out of the forest and laying down on the trees like a curtain. When the fog is hiding in the shadows of the valleys that the sun can not reach it. Thats really a great sight.

Hello There!
There is a local park which had some tulips that really wanted to be photographed. I obliged and spent that morning fooling around with the DoF while battling with the wind. Many of the images got turfed, but I decided to keep this one because I liked the colours which I did not alter. Editing and effects via Topaz Studio.

A really bad photo of the female taken in very low light and from great distance. I only post it because some of you may not know how she's like... the photo doesn't make justice to her beauty, although she's not as showy as the male.

...really against a harsh hot environment. When one sees the vast dry White Sands Park one really sees the scale and strange environment that a flower can even grow. Yes I laid down to get image - soft for a change but then found sand everywhere, Had to be extra careful changing lens here.

I was on the wrong path and without realizing it I lost everything that really means something to me. Since then I have been living in the dark and waiting for you to come to pick me up .. On your hand that you give me with forgiveness so that we can start over. Maybe that will never happen, but hope remains. Until then, I'll just stay in my dark world.

I really love the Red-rumped Parrots, and they seem to be having a good year around Woodlands, lots of them about. The males are such pretty colours, even when you can't see the red rump, as in this photo.
