Due to the amount of awards and comments, I can't thank everyone individually, so I'm doing it here.

Thanks for stopping by my gallery. I’m very pleased and really appreciate each and every view of my photo, comments, invitations and awards.

It is a great model to fold. For the big one I used a silver foil piece of paper 30x30cm and for the little ones, each one piece 15x15cm.

Final size big one: length 12cm, height9,5cm width 5cm

Got really lucky that the morning was so calm and the water was still, except for the occasional duck. On the left is the South Sister and on the right is Broken Top.

Located in the heart of Central Oregon just 25 miles west of Bend, Sparks Lake is a large, shallow lake. Situated near the northwest edge of Mount Bachelor, the lake boasts spectacular views of Broken Top and South Sister in addition to Mount Bachelor. Sparks Lake was formed by volcanic activity in the area over 10,000 years ago. Pristine alpine streams flow into this beautiful lake.

Sparks Lake is a natural body of water near the crest of the central Cascade Range in Deschutes County.

Really enjoyed doing this. Took a lot of time but we certainly learn new skills in the Group. Thanks Maria.

Looking forward to seeing your images folks. Have a great Saturday.

Marybeth really saved me for the Macro Mondays theme, "Beads" with her pearls that I bought for her back in 1991 when I was away at school for six months. The clasp and pearls measure approximately 1.25 inches.

Shot with: VOIGTLANDER, 125mm f/2.5 SL, MACRO APO-LANTHAR @ f/8 w/Nikon PK-13 27.5mm Extension Tube), 21 Layer Focus Stack Rendered w/Helicon Focus (B, R3, S2). Foreground layer used for bokeh. Pearls set on silver sparkle paper.

This is Tank! You can find him out on the dusty trail any day of the year, he just moves a little slower in summer.

Phil (Red-bellied woodpecker) certainly seems to be a bit of a show off these days. All of those red feathers are really starting to pop.

The addition of moss, bromeliads and staghorns to the oaks has proven to be a terrific habitat enhancement for my little visitors. Phil and Robbie (gray squirrel) are especially fond of the bromeliads and use them like little refreshment stands.

The next habitat enhancement project is adding resurrection fern to my oaks. I have been on the lookout for resurrection fern for a while now. As luck would have it, during my trip to Brooksville FL. over the weekend I met a couple that has the fern all over the oaks on their enormous property.

I asked if I could purchase some and they said no but I could have some. That certainly made my day! I was gifted a whole bin full, probably enough to establish the fern in all four of my oaks.

I hope that you have an incredible day, happy snapping.

I saw this beautiful Fish at the Atlanta Aquarium last weekend white visiting my sister, The colors on this Fish is Amazing and Breath Taking. My first thought was WOW, then Gorgeous, then Fantastic beauty. Their were a lot of beautiful Fish their but this one really caught my eye, glowing in the Water.

Dordrecht is a really old city that grew wealthy on its position at a river confluence with important commercial, military and private boat building. It held significant regional and international importance, hosting the 'Synod of Dordrecht' and other important religious meetings.

Thankfully, it escaped much of the widespread destruction of the second world war. Consequently, it is brimming with interesting old architecture and displays an old-time sense of wealth that belies the peaceful and laid back character of its modern-day economic relaxation. The locals are educated and generally proud of their city, which is the sort of place to wander around and explore leisurely, rather than rushing in and out.

The Groothoofdspoort on this photo is a former city gate in Dordrecht that is located at the point where three rivers meet; the Merwede, the Oude Maas, and the Noord.

The building was designed in the 14th century and was originally built with gothic details. The facades were built in 1618 and the tower was added in 1692. The relief above the doorway facing the river was designed by Gillis Huppe in 1618 and shows the Dordrecht maiden sitting in the "Garden of Holland", holding a palm branch in her left hand and the city shield in her right hand, based on an earlier design by the Dordrecht painter Gerrit Gerritsz Cuyp. She is surrounded by 16 city shields of cities who rebelled during the eighty years war. From top right, these city shields are the cities of Monnickendam (monk), Enkhuizen (3 fish), Asperen, Heusden, Schiedam, Vlaardingen, Geertruidenberg, Schoonhoven, Hoorn, Weesp, Leerdam, Naarden, Muiden, Medemblik, and Grootebroek. Under the shields, a Latin inscription states "Unity and peace are the best defence for a city; May my God Jehovah protect me". On the other side of the tower is a relief with the shield of Dordrecht held by two griffins.

The roof was replaced by a tower in 1692 and contains a bell by H.Meurs.

The current occupant "Bellevue Groothoofd hotel culinair", a hotel restaurant in the "Groothoofd" block of buildings including the gate, and where Dordrecht residents can arrange to be wed in the old gate building, claims that the "Hotel Belle Vue" building next to the gate was first mentioned in city documents in 1817

Tomorrow morning, Engine Room finally opens! Break past the doors and get all of your steampunk and fantasy kicks fulfilled. This round is stupidly amazing, and I lament for my wallet.

Check out the style guide and get a link to Engine Room right over here!

Engine Room opens at 12pm SLT, so get ready to shove your way in there. <3

Can't wait to get back to kayaking, we still have lots of ice...very soon though, hopefully. I also ride my horse here as well.

Well, not really . . . it just seems as if when I photograph one of these cattle egrets they often have a look that appears as if they are angry at something. In reality, I am certain they are as happy as any other bird. This guy was found at Circle B Bar Reserve near Lakeland, Florida. He measures about 19-20 inches (48-51 cm) from beak-tip to tail-tip.

I really appreciate your kindness and visit in my gallery 💕 to read your lovely comments or receive your faves is a great pleasure for me but please no awards...

All the best wishes to you and yours! Have a great 2010, my dear friends! And a lot of hugs!

I really like autumn but not these grey November days. So here's a shot from a walk on a sunny day in the Harz Mountains in October ☀️ Have a sunshiny Sunday everybody ☀️

The Ilse valley (German: Ilsetal) is the ravine of the Ilse stream in the northern boundary of the Harz mountain range in Germany. Part of the Harz National Park, it runs from the town of Ilsenburg at the foot of the mountain range up to the source region near the summit of the Brocken massif, the highest mountain of the range. The scenic valley is a popular hiking area (Wikipedia)

I feel at the happiest when I can witness magic iike this, where the sun creates this beautiful light with water drops.

The weather has become a lot colder now in Fall and despite the colder humid air, this makes it all worth it. Nothing can measure to beauty like this, which is even hard to photograph.

My favourite place - 52weeksofpix

A really bad photo of the female taken in very low light and from great distance. I only post it because some of you may not know how she's like... the photo doesn't make justice to her beauty, although she's not as showy as the male.

شفتها هالكلمه في حقك شوي

This cormorant caught 5 fishcats within few minutes.

He was really impressive.

I did the photo under trees at sunset so it was really hard to see what hapened in real life. Photos show it much better.

For the fun, few people stopped me to watch the photos on my camera and they discovered that the cormorant had a catfish in the beak, in real life it was too dark and the bird was too far to see anything.

I have to wonder if this was the butterfly that Mohamid Ali was referring to when he said "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee"

These beauties really seem to float as they gather around their host plant.

Have a beautiful Tuesday, happy snapping.

Goats are really kind of weird,

Even babies have a scraggly beard,

They eat all kinds of different things,

Like clothes, and trash, and even rings.
