In order to break the rock between the trucks, Michael must be able to quickly switch between a bucket and a hydraulic hammer. Therefore, he has chosen to equip his Volvo EC300 EL with engcon's largest automatic quick coupler QS80 with EC-Oil.

- I work a lot with hydraulic hammers. When it came time to choose a new machine, I found out about this with EC-Oil from engcon. This means that I do not have to hold on and screw with heavy hammer hoses and can make quick tool changes. It was a fairly easy choice, Michael notes.

Previously, he had to leave the cab to change gear. If he had the tiltrotator on, he had to go out first and remove the hoses and cables manually and then into the cab again to dispose of.

- Then when you got on the hammer it was out again with big heavy hoses that would be screwed into the hammer hydraulics. It probably took at least ten minutes for each change.
