After doing some serious research on the id of this bird, I came to no conclusion.
In early spring, at the same area, I saw two of them but never had time to take a shot. Because they flew almost right away, I thought they were Nashville Warblers. To my big surprise this week, I have seen them again. So that told me it was not a Nashville Warbler. It looks like a female Redstart to me but the yellow is very bright and all over the front which is not a female Redstart pattern. Also there is no pattern at all on the wings. I assume this is an adult as I have seen them in the spring. I have several shots but you can see the white and dark coloured pattern under the tail and some white patches on top of the tail..... I checked so many birds and still have no clue what it is. I would really appreciate your comments on that one. What do you think it is?

Island of Discovery - Questions (part 2/3)
Recovered from the journal of Reginald J. Schnuff; pirate, explorer, archaeologist, etc.
Journal Entry 457
“I awoke to the sound of waves and discovered that I wasn’t dead. Where was I and what happened? Then it came to me: the shipwreck. All my mates. Gone. Given up to the depths. I survived, but why? Here on an unknown island with no food or shelter. I was left to my fears and my racing heart. I was better off sinking in the sea.
I journeyed through the jungle for what seemed like days. Some places dark as midnight. Every sound made my skin crawl, and I knew that with every step I was being watched.
Still I found no signs civilization, and I couldn’t tell whether that was a good thing or not. The tales of cannibals and monsters even frightened a pirate such as I. The sea I could handle, but all alone on an unknown island, I wasn’t sure. But I would not go down without a fight that’s to be sure.
Then all of a sudden, I stepped into a clearing with what seemed to be a village taken over by the jungle. ‘So there are people here in this island?’ It appeared that nobody had been in these parts for a very long time, except for the lit torches. They cast an eerie glow over the buildings and dense foliage. I looked all around and couldn’t find a soul. ‘Where are the people?’ I wondered...”

ce goéland a l'air d'avoir les plumes qui prennent l'eau quelqu'un sait-il pourquoi ?
This one looks like soaked , anyone knowing why ?
Sometimes, there are moments and scenes that just hit harder than others. A gesture, or a movement, or the shape of something. It could be anything that causes the image to resonate.
For me, this is one of those moments, and I'm going to print this up and hang it on the wall in my office. There's something curious about the subjects. There are questions being asked that invites to viewer to ponder.
I take many photos in the course of a year and, I have to say, I don't think I've ever accidentally left my camera in JPEG-only mode. But that's what I did this day, and only realised when I got back what I'd done.
That's right, this image is a JPEG only, and it's good enough to print and hang.
There's probably a lesson in there for all of us.
I asked this biker guy two questions ... if I could borrow his hair for the weekend ... and if I could take his picture .... He said I couldn't borrow the hair ... but I made the portrait anyway ...

I've been wanting to make the joker batman for a while now and I only have one batman cowl left. I was going to use it for another bat figure that I started a while ago, but now I really want to make the joker batman. Should I just do it??

07/21: Question...? ❓
Back with a Question: "Did you ever have someone kiss you in a crowded room?" Question...? is about hope that your ex is similarly unable to move on from you and that their newer attempts at love are only “second best after that meteor strike.” (So its fair that I made this picture with my ex) :p
They fought for us, they died for our freedom... They defeated evil in the face of great odds. Evil, today, is checked by their presence... Remove the American Soldier from history - from the South Pacific, from Normandy, from backwaters around the globe - and you aren't on the back-deck flipping burgers and drinking beer... Stop and think what the world would be like absent the stones in Arlington Cemetery... Better, ask your child, your son or daughter... They live in a country in which soldiers shield them. If they can't answer the question, the American Soldier succeeded, he quietly did his job... History repeats because lessons fade -- wither and die in the wake of spilt blood... But rest assured, the American Soldier knows history -- and he will be ready when the time comes again, when the world needs him, because the world, saved by him, advanced.... And forgot.

Found this very fresh Question mark in Juniata county 14July2021. I just love all the deep red/brown with the purples!
It was an unusually cooler day with low humidity. I started out my day with a pleasant morning run when I saw these swans grooming near the shore of the Huron River
"How do you know when it's time for you to go
How can you stop when you don't know how to start
How can you go back when you don't know why you're here
How can you see when your eyes begin to fade
How will you hear when you've heard it all before
How do you do all the things you want to do
How much can you take when you've taken all you can
Hoe can you act when you've never seen the script
How can you choose when you don't know which is right
How far can you go if you've been there before
How can you shine if you've never seen the sun
How does a child become a man without a child
How can you heal someone that doesn't want to heal"

There were many unanswered questions in this house: such as why these shoes were left behind. I confess I put them on the window sill where I could photograph them better.
Silent Hill is a horror/survival video game where the protagonist enters a world "Out of phase with our universe." with is filled with horrid with demonic creatures and there were a couple of better than average horror movies spined off from the video games. The young lady while trying to pose and get into character kept getting asked silly questions and started breaking out into laughter repeatedly barely holding the pose here.
